It seems a lot of players were also absent.

@Steve: Eindhoven probably has the highest % of power in its tournament of Europe, and maybe even in de world (not including Gencon, but it could be on par with even that!).

It's getting worse. There where a lot of random.dec and IPutAllMyRedBurnCardsInADecAn dHopeToStealSomeGames.dec. The number of players is getting higher, but only half of the players are powered now. Maybe it's because of holidays? I consider the highest power % to be in Antwerp, although it's been a while since they did something.

Anyway, there was a lot more fish than usual. But still nothing to worry about. The number of storm decks though... Did the Germans even bring something else than combo (storm or salvager)? I played 2 storm decks against Germans in the first 2 rounds.

No room in the house exceeds a length of twenty-five feet, let alone fifty feet, let alone fifty-six and a half feet, and yet Chad and Daisy's voices are echoing, each call responding with an entirely separate answer. In the living room, Navidson discovers the echoes emanating from a dark, doorless hallway which has appeared out of nowhere in the west wall.

I think holidays had a definite impact on this tournament. Several of the good and powered dutch players were missing and I can't remember ever seeing such a high turnout for Eindhoven.  Antwerpen had a highly powered environment the last time I played there, but that mainly was because of the high number of Eindhoven regulars showing up. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon because it's hard to get there, the quality of the price-support varies and the Judge is not very good.

Didn't you have problems with the judge last time, Tom?

I really liked the last Antwerp tournament, since it was filled with people with good decks and most of them played them very well.

Eindhoven also has a lot of power most of the time, but you still got to play some games against block.dec or extended.dec. This shouldn't be a problemfor your score, but it's not what you hope for, I rather play some close games against a good opponent.
