We are thinking about holding an Ancestral Recall tournement @ Round Table Games in Owatonna, MN, but first I'm curious to see how many of all of you would be willing to make the trip.

This would be a five proxy event.

1st Prize: Unl. Ancestral Recall
2nd Prize: 4x Unl. Sinkhole
3rd Prize: Exalted Angel
Highest Finisher with no Proxies: 1x Each Bringer (You know, from 5th Dawn)

Entry fee: $15-20, depending on the how many people we expect.

The date we are aiming for is Sat., September 25th.

Just trying to get a feel for whether or not such an event would be a success.

Thanks.

In general, yes I'd drive from Minneapolis to Owatonna for a Saturday tournament.  Especially if you guys stagger these to not conflict with Dreamers and St. Cloud tournament weekends.

I can't make this specific event though.

I know Dreamer's are the second Sunday of the month, correct?  What is the schedule on the St. Cloud ones?

This could possibly be my first T1 event I might make (as well as this being my first post!).  Of course, I would have to play Fish due to my limited cardpool atm.  I know a guy or two in Marshall who are partially powered and might be interested.  I'll be at school so I'll have to see, but I'll pass the word to the very few Vintage players in the Marshall area.

Yea, I would likely come down.  I would also check The Monster's Den regularly.  They like to have tournies on the last saturday of the month often.  September looks free as of right now.  Something to consider because of their proximity.
