for the coverage of my match vs Michael Simister (I'm William Dicks), for this:
"Dicks shakes his head and elects to go first for game two. A judge is called to watch, as Simister accidentally shuffled Timetwister in to his deck when he cast it. Determined to be too far to reverse the game state, both players are given a warning".
I don't remember the judge being called over, but was sitting there from the start. I didn't notice the Timetwister issue until after the match when a spectator pointed it out to me.
Also, no judge ever said anything to either one of us about warnings or wrote anything on the match slip about it. Or if they said anything it was to Michael alone after the match...
with regards to my match vs Smemmen, you said, "As Bill is down to topdecking and Steve is holding several counters, Bill conserves time and scoops, heading off for a bathroom break and some nachos that the writer really wishes were his."
This was untrue, I didn't scoop that game, it was a draw and Steve won the match 1-0, not 2-0. Bill

Ah god! I'm being flooded with poor notetaking! Steve, sorry, it looked like you were being sloppy to me. I know the judge was called to watch... I called him. That's where I went as he was trying to figure out how to resolve tinker. The warning thing was a judge telling me what should have been done, but he was overly lax. Again, *complaing about REL 4 inconsistancy* As for 1-0-1 vs 2-0, many apologies, my notes are admittedly scrambled here. Mostly because I wrote down the content of your hands a page up so you couldn't see it, but it ended up mixing up my game two coverage. Any other inconsistancies you guys could find?

I enjoyed that coverage a lot. Seriously, I was expecting the standard feature match coverage by someone who doesn't actually play T1; so it was great to read something by someone who cares/understands the format. Good coverage.

...and Fisher plans to do nothing but spitefully shut down Rix's chance at the top eight. Right... Brian should have just quit right there and then. There is no reason for Brian to even attempt to win. Hell, there's no reason for him even to play in the tournament! That said, good coverage. It was a pretty great read!

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he shouldn't. But it was spite on both sides that kept the players out of the t8.

Good to see that SOMEONE covered the finals, and you did a damned good job. My only complaint is that there were several reports that had similar decks or the same players. BK, you gotta go out and find the weird matches in the swiss! I want to see Landstill vs. RectorTrix!
Wait, no I don't. But shake it up a little next time, for variety is the spice of life!

d00d: that was the swiss. The finals will be up on monday. I wanted to keep everything to the top tables, because nobody cares about t2 rav affinity versus burninator.

Amazing coverage, Kowal. I'll echo Hi-Val and say you should have done one round of like, table 10- the people that are winning but on the verge. But again, still grea work.
