site creation

this is gonna sound odd,  and maybe i'm posting it in the wrong forum, but can anyone tell me where i can learn how to make a web site like this one? i need to know where i could get the tools and some manuals. I don't care if is free or if i have to pay.

If you can't find links like that on your own, I would strongly advise against making your own site.

MoreFling fails to appreciate that getting someone else to do something for you is more efficient than doing it yourself. In addition putting website tools into Google is hardly likely to generate an easy to use result.

If I remember rightly Toad was behind a lot of TMD technical stuff. PM him and ask nicely. (remember to ask him when MTGPics will finally list Portal cards, hell they have Unglued!). I could be wrong, it happens (although not half as often as my wife points out).

How much of this was really difficult?  This is a phpBB forum which is open source.

Well, you need some web design skillz if you wanna make a real website.  But if you just want forums, you have some options.  But if you notice at the bottom of this forum it reads:

Check out www.phpbb.com and it should get you started.  But first, before all that, you should get yourself some web space and a domain name.  I use Ipowerweb.  www.ipowerweb.com.  It's like $95 bucks a year for I think like 800mb of space and a domain name.  So you can get like www.whateveryouwant.com or something.
