Michigan also has Pandemonium (Garden City) which runs type 1 on mondays and Masquerade Games (Eastpointe) that runs t1 on saturdays. There is another place in the Eastpointe area that runs t1 FNMs... Pandemonium Games 1858 Middlebelt Garden City, MI 48135 (734) 427-2451 As Ben (EITD) said, Pandemonium runs T1 on Mondays. This is the place where Ben, current World Champion Mark Biller, myself, PacmanX, and occasionally serialjester (Dan) and Tristal played every week over the summer. Several other TMD members have also played there.

World of Fantasy Games in Indianapolis has changed its name to Gamerz. I do not recommend this store at all; rather, I discourage patronizing this store.
For Indianapolis, I have been recommended this store: Hidden Realm Comics 5135 S. Emerson Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46237 (317) 780-1888
Will report back once I visit (in the new year). I am told there is weekly T1 there.

It's mainly a Warhammer 40k store, but every Friday night they have a Type 1 no proxy tournament. It's only a dollar, so its cheap and a good time, but only like three people are powered, and there are a lot of pre-cons being played. Certainly not the best testing ground, but a cool place nonetheless.
EDIT: This store is under new ownership and is moving to a different location within the same town. No word yet on whether their phone number or Type 1 support will change, though (not that anyone much cares.)

I posted this in another thread and it seems to be missing from here, so here isa list of stores in Colorado:
Okay here is the lo down on Colorado T1:
Raven's Roost 6779 W. 44th Ave Wheatridge, CO 80033 303-403-4204
holds a proxy Type One every Wednesday @ 6:30-7pm
Stone Bridge Games 449 Main St. Longmont, CO 80501 303-776-3796
holds sanctioned Type one every Sunday, unsure of times.
Mile High Comics 9201 N. Washington Thornton,CO (303) 457-2612
holds sanctioned Type One's the last Sunday of each month.
All three stores hold larger tournaments every now and then. MHC's will have a large T1 some time in March.
Also Classic Cards & Comics 205 6th Street Castle Rock, CO 80104 720-733-2552 holds tournaments for Workshop type prizes every now and then as well.
And finally there is: Valhalla's 6161 W. 44th Ave. Wheatridge, CO 80033 303.463.5451
You can find pick up games here and I think they hold tournies Thursdays, but I am unsure of this.

I work at A World of Books 137 Pelton Center Way San Leandro CA
sunday is our evil gaming event, and fridays well its FNM
i am the only semi insane t-1 player there, the rest of us just play limited t-2
but its probably the only place were you can see slivers take on affinity take on tooth and nail, and have a nutty little combo deck like march + intruder alarm + nuicence engine + vedelken enginers + gilded lotus + fireball 4 the win win the 10 person game.
we used to have a much more active MTG community, but they all moved and went to college and stuffs
so if you are ever in the area on a sunday afternoon, ask for David

We have Vintage tournaments at least once a month, plus all sorts of other events like Prereleases and State Championships. Plus, we have a weekly Legacy tournament on Sundays that usually draws around 20-30 people.
