Carousel Games & Sports North Towne Mall, behind the McDonalds, corner of Main & W. Riverside Rockford, IL (815) 636.0901
Magic is played pretty much every night. Organized Type One (no proxies) is played on Mondays and Thursdays at 5.00 pm.
At the moment, the owner is considering starting unlimited proxy events and upping the prizes (admission is free both nights). We have just started unlimited-proxy nights on Thursdays. Any players in Rockford should come out. The atmosphere is pretty casual, but we still have a good time.

I'm still trying to get Dave, the owner, to have Vintage tournaments, but it's still a great place to play and hang out.

Safe Haven Games (formerly Gamer's Keepe) in Vacaville, CA
on Nut Tree and Alamo (Vacaville, is between Sacramento and San Francisco in Northern California.)
T1 sporadically. Technically, it's a T1 joint, but I have trained ALL the T1 locals to play T1, even giving them their own T1 Proxy decks to play/playtest against.
Just show yer face, and we can adjust the tourney schedule to reflect your presence.

Holds 5 proxy events pretty much every friday. We have a few powered regulars.
However, be forewarned that the average age of people there is ~15.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

North Carolina Cerebral Hobbies 265 S Elliott Rd Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514 919-929-0021 http://www.cerebralhobbies.com/BTW, Sports Cards Unlimited is no longer located in Northgate Mall. They've relocated to North Duke Mall. I'm not sure of the address or phone though. I'll look into it. EDIT: Never mind about Cerebral Hobbies, they are going out of business. God I hate Magic in NC.

PA CCGs Cards and Games 4020 Liberty Avenue Pittsburgh, PA (412) 621-3401 http://www.ccgscards.com/501.htmlThis store opened up just a couple weeks ago (I found out about it yesterday). Currently the only organized tournaments being held are Friday Night Magic Booster Drafts, but the store owner is very interested in holding Vintage and Legacy events once he gets up and running and has more business. It's a nice venue and is easily accessible by any of the PAT buses, and they have an excellent $1 rare bin along with other singles, so spread the word!

Houston, TX
Dragon's Breath Games closed down. There are only 2 somewhat worthwhile stores in Houston for buying T1 cards, but from what I'm to understand neither store has a good T1 community:
Midnight Comics Strikezone

I'm having a little trouble finding a vintage community in Oregon. I just moved here from Colorado, and we had an amazing community out there. You could say that I'm going through withdrawels of sorts.
Does anyone know of a tournament scene out here at all? I have to assume that there are vintage players out here, it just might take a little searching.
If there isn't a scene here now, I would like to here from some people that would be willing to get one started with me. Just send me a message with any info that could help.
I really appreciate any help.

The Vault Comics and Games 5274 Route 30 Westmoreland Crossing Suite 16 Greensburg, PA 15601
About 30min south of Pitt...
I have a T1 tourney on the 29th there, so it got all the locals playing T1, so we have a large range of different decks floating around and like 6-8 people strong right now...

For Rhode Island, Disposible Heros is no longer DCI Sanctioned.
There is however, another place that is.
