That card is really cool, actually. Not anything for T1 really, but still really good.

That card is really cool, actually. Not anything for T1 really, but still really good. Indeed, it's very playable still, and easily my favorite critter from this new set. I mean it's a 2cc 1/1, that forces a discard; that's not something to scoff at, sure maybe not hot in Vintage with Welder around, but still not bad at all. Could go very nicely in a fun suicice-type deck with Duress, Hymn, and this dude eating a card and turning into a 3/3 very quickly.

The art and picture layout is also about 100 times better than that Red flip-card.
It looks like a well-designed card (of course in Type 1 we just used the badly-designed ones).

what the hell happens when two of these get flipped in the same game? I assume they annhilate eachother because they both become legends but that's just wierd.

Both die.
Instant speed discard is quite good. I like this Rat.

I've been a fan of L5R, so I'm going to have to make a Rat/Nezumi deck once this set comes out. This is actually a pretty solid card in slower formats--it'll be nice if something other than Vial/Affinity takes off in Type 2.

I'm gonna miss Cabal Interrogator as my Type 2 mono-black discard creature.
This might fill the void, but I dunno.
Oh well, I'll just win with Cranial Extraction anyway.

Why would they both get flipped at the same time? They only flip when you activate it and your opponent has no cards... Just don't activate the other one when your opponent is on thier last card and you won't have 2 Legends in play. =P

Well, there's always Mindslaver. And I bet they'll print the [card]Break Open[/card] of flip creatures somewhere in this block.

These freaking split cards are so ugly. I don't get the flavor behind them either. Well, at least the ones we've seen.

I think the flavor runs along the lines of "the nameless warrior triumphs and becomes a legendary hero" or something like that. Either way, they've pulled it off terribly if you ask me.
