Does anyone else thing this look just like the card I previewed in Cards From The Mana Drain: The Best Fan-Created White Cards That Patch Up White Weenie's WeaknessesThe card in question is : Hikari, Twilight Guardian 3ww (R) Legendary creature - Spirit Flying Whenever you play a Spirit or Arcane spell, you may remove Hikari, Twilight Guardian from the game. If you do, return it to play under it's owner's control at end of turn. 4/4 12/306 It might be a good kill condition for type 1, It's unkillable. Well if they print actually good Spirit or arcane spells? Guardian, Random Arcane Spell, Balance, GG.

Before we declare this "unkillable," we need an idea of what Arcane spells there will be (or rather, what *useful* arcane spells there will be).
I can't imagine there not being any playable Arcane spells, so throw them into a deck with this guy and the Arcane Tutor (2U to search for an Arcane spell, can't remember what its called) and we could have some fun. Splice too... there's gotta be a way to abuse Splice/Arcane in Vintage.
On the other hand, is this guy really better than Exalted Angel, Pristine Angel, or even Morphling? It all depends on what Arcane gives us.

Splice/arcane could be incredible, and it wouldnt matter in my mind... It would still be inferior to exalted angel and Morphling, because the decks that use those cards can protect them easily enough, and the cards are superior to begin win.

It's wrong to say that Hikari is unkillable. It's NEARLY unkillable IF you have 10 or so arcane spells at least. The problem is, there aren't gonna be that many good arcane spells. Definitely not enough Vintage caliber arcane spells to fill 10 slots. Even if Hikari were a 4/4 flying, untargetable, indestructible, it STILL wouldn't be better than Exalted Angel, game winner extraordinaire.

If you want something unkillable use blinking spirit . Seriosuly, though, to use this as a kill condition this deck would have to be based around arcane spells, most of which don't seem too hot for tyoe 1 at the moment (they may have a bit of potentual, but nothing amazing IMO) and all this really is is a 4/4 flyer for 5 with a defensive abiliy. Morphling anyone? (plus it's legendary and there is the new legend rule, now this isn't that much of an issue but it still makes the card slightly worse, plus it's white instead of blue) Even if they printed 60 good arcane spells/spirits for type 1 this still wouldn't be playable. Balance often is gg, funny how it's restricted and all...

We have rather cyclic discussion, and I fully believe that someone so inclined could create a rather accurate computer program which could do a fine job impersonating any of us.

It reminds me of another creature except the one I'm thinking about is the same cc cept it's blue and you don't have to cast a spell to make it unkillable.
Morphling.
If some of the arcane cards are bombs, yeah he's ok, but I really doubt they will print anything better than what we have already.

Well, in my opion, this will be hard to get off, as it costs 3WW and double white mana isn't easy to pull.

Well, in my opion, this will be hard to get off, as it costs 3WW and double white mana isn't easy to pull. 4CC can easily hardcast an Exalted Angel, especially following a decent sized Mana Drain. The white mana isn't an issue at all, and the one up bump from Morphing it isn't too big of a deal either. I won't say anything about the card until I see what kind of Spirit/Arcane stuff there is out there.
