I notice that they don't get paid for working anything relating to T1.  All of the out of print cards aren't going to be profitable to Wizards, unless they keep all of the old boxes and limit to sell them.

They would rather be serious in focusing with Type 2 because that is how they get paid from selling the latest set.  I am not suprised if T1 will decrease the popularity in the future, due to most of the magic players would be more familiar with Type 2.  Look at the World tournament for a good example, WotC doesn't serve a T1 tournament.

When most people realized how unpopular and unimportant T1 to Wizards, you better not be sorry for spending too much money on Black Lotus.

I would predict that is my very last post and my account will be banned for my right freedom of speech.   Rolling Eyes

1)  Wizards support for and the popularity of Type 1 has only skyrocketed over the past year and block, and shows no signs of stopping.  The point I'm making here is that you are very wrong.

2)   This is a private forum.  You have no freedom of speech here beyond what Zherbus chooses to allow you to have.

I'm believe that your assumption is correct regarding this being your last post, and my reasoning behind this will be a brief summary of your previous three posts:

Post number one: "Magic players are all bad-smelling losers."

Post number two: "Only 'normal' looking people should play Magic."

Post number three: "Your hobby is a waste of time and money, therefore proving that you are all fools."

Somehow, those don't strike me as being too productive.

Just to do the devil's advocate... isn't this a moderated public forum?

Anyway, even if it so, this guy just needs a ban  Rolling Eyes

Where do the money go for the Wizards supporting the T1?  If you were right, then how come there is no official T1 tourney in the World Championship?

I only see some Magic shops keep trying hard to make T1 tournament alive.  Rolling Eyes

Nice try to twist my words in the posting number three.  I actually posted about how can Wizards make a profit out from supporting T1.  I have no idea why you would be happier to see me in banishment.  Sorry, if one of these offended you.  I love when the truth is being harsh.  Confused

Type I is very important to the secondary card market.  How long would a card store survive if they couldn't sell T1 cards or if T1 cards became invaluable?  To kill T1 card values is to kill the stores, which would kill the local tournament environment.  Kill the local tournament environment and you seriously weaken Magic.

And you're stupid too.  Free speech doesn't mean you can say anything you want when ever you want.  Free speech has some reasonable limits.  Clearly this forum doesn't exist so you can say anything you want.  It is public in that you can get an account and post, but if you violate the rules of the "democracy" here, then you get banned.

That doesn't answer to my question because I'm talking about Wizards, not the Magic shop.  I am sure WotC wouldn't give a fuck if the magic shop goes out of business because they still continue selling the latest products to the department stores or wherever.

I found it amusing that no one answers why WottC doesn't announce an official T1 tournament.

Killing T1 might kill YOUR store, but all the local stores here survive on T2. The sale of packs for draft and for T2 players greatly outweighs the sale of single cards. Other games such as Vs, Warhammer, Hero Clicks, D&D books, board games etc all contribute to the store's sales.

Yeah, this guy sounds like a troll trying to piss the community off. The guy needs a ban - but there's no point in even trying to respond to what he's got to say. He hasn't got anything.

Don't worry, I wasn't offended.

In any case, I'd like you to please point out the part where I say that seeing you banned would bring me joy. I must have missed that one.

In regards to post number three... is that not what you're saying? You  are continually asking us: "Why are you continuing to play / support something that has no backing?"

Well, you're not even really asking "Why?", you're just kinda' telling us that we're dumber for doing it.
