Sacred Ground
{1}{W}
Enchantment
Whenever a spell or ability an opponent controls causes a land to be put into your graveyard from play, return that land to play.

Mindslaver
{6}
Legendary Artifact
{4}, {T}, Sacrifice Mindslaver: You control target player's next turn. (You see all cards that player could see and make all decisions for the player. He or she doesn't lose life because of mana burn.)

I control a Sacred Ground and a Zuran Orb. My opponent uses a Mindslaver on me. On my next turn (the one he controls), if he chooses to have me sacrirfice my lands to the Orb, will Sacred Ground return them to play? I think yes because as Mindslaver says, my opponent is the controller of the entire turn, including the activated abilities of my cards.

One flaw in your plan. Your opponent controls your turn, not your permanents. So a spirit link on a creature will not give the opponent life. As such, the zuran orb will not trigger the sacred ground. So basically, you can wave your lands goodbye.

Does the opponent not control the ability, then? I assumed controlling the turn entailed controlling all optional actions such as a Zorb activation.

They control your turn, and just that.

All controlling your turn means is that they make decissions for you.  However, you still control the abilities, even though they make the descision for you to use it.

So, if they decide to activate your Zorb for your, you still control the Zorb activation.  Your Sacred Ground won't trigger.

In other words, when your opponent activated Mindslaver and you had a Zuran Orb out he likely peed himself a little.   :lol:
