Maybe if Ric_Flair airs his controversial 'Waterbury' documentary on national TV before the election (thereby throwing his chances at an Academy award out the window*), it might tip the scales in someone's favor.

*= rumor has it he would have been nominated for an Oscar Tan.

While the same can be said for the Reynolds/Kelppinger ticket, don't let this be a factor that makes you vote for them unless it looks like they can win. While likely the best for Vintage, their rogue decks and playstyle alienate them from most voters, making them our little Ralph Naders to Short Bus's John Kerry.

In short:

Vote Anyone But Meandeck.

Support Reynolds/Kelppinger.

Ahh, but that was Ian's first Vintage tournament ever, and first time out w/ the deck.

Doug Linn, beating up and torturing n00bs.  Do you want people associated w/ this type in office?  Vote Perez/Allen!

And Shortbus bringing in total nUbulons into their team? Keep talking, boys.

Do you want someone who puts incompetent people in their cabinet like Shortbus will? Did you see Shane admit RIGHT THERE that his teammates don't test decks before tournaments? Do you expect them to even READ legislation before wanting to sign it?

If I recall there were 3 shortbus'rs in that top8... to only1 meandecker, but thats niether here nor there... that top8 contained probably the most important element to consider for this election:

Its the only head to head matchup between Perez and Menendian to date.

When its time for you to go to the ballot box and cast your vote, remember that Menendian and Perez have already had their contest...
and Marc crushed Steve so badly that he gave up on Tog forever.

Who do YOU think should be TMD president???

In a funny unrelated note, it seems that the race in Ohio b/t Kerry and Bush is so close it could come down to the vote of students at OSU.  Just what we need, Meandeck swaying the fate of the entire WORLD!  Embarassed

Oh, right, the topic.  Uhm, vote Meandeck.  We don't HAVE to lie to win.  (But we do it anyway, because it's just that much more fun.)

Isn't Ohio that state were you can't pay for votes but you can pay volunteers $150 for ferrying voters to the polling stations? One family of 4 goes to vote in a car $37.50 per vote, not buying votes at all.

Thank God both candidates are equally bad and the guy who gets more votes loses anyway in recent tight presidential elections!

(you guys have it easy, you just get to choose which idiot will try to blow up the world, here in Slovakia you get a REAL choice - ex-commies who say they were never communist, communists who say they are socialist and communism wasn't actually bad anyway, nationalistic dictators who kidnap the son of the President (ours not yours), various well-meaning but inept candidates from parties with no chance at all, I'm-the-leader-of-my-party-because-I-left-the-other-parties-who-wouldn't-let-me-be-leader (we have lots of these) and ethnic 'We are Hungarian and so are you so vote for us' candidates)

I say vote Team Meandeck because every good deck ever was invented by Meandeck if recent articles are to be believed. Luckily my decks are bad so Meandeck have no claim to them.

I would like to clear up a few things…

1) First of all I was the first TO to have a Nudie Bar party after his tournament.

1) Menendian did not bring us to war.  He pointed at the WMDs and got them restricted in more than one case.  He didn’t say that there were WMDs somewhere and not find them.  GroAtog was bad and he helped get it off the world market.  Mind’s Desire was an abomination and he helped get sanctions on it before it effected the world.  He helps keep your Mishra’s factories in working order.  He brought Long.dec into the light of day so you weren’t all raped by it.

2) My girlfriend is bi and so the hot lezzie action goes down in my bedroom.

3) Menendian is good for international politics.  He has been on trips to see our neighbors in Europe. He learned from them and brought their ideas home.  He is making a better tomorrow for all involved.  He does not hid in the closet with his “trinketsâ€? or with the “gayâ€? and plot the downfall of your commodities.  He is a lawyer and who do you want running things an man who knows the law or someone who will try to sell our property out from under us.

4) Forget about these third party hacks…. How could you vote for a guy named Kl0wn?

5) and Lastly, I was the first TO to have a Nudie Bar party after his tournament.

SO vote Menendian/Cron because a vote for Meandeck is a vote for me (because I get to be Secretary of State if Meandeck wins).

Peace love and Moxes…

Kevin Cron is an American hero.

Picture this scenario.

It is Saturday, day 2 of a Pro Tour.  The consensus best player in the world (Kai Budde) and the Player of the Year in 2004 (Gabriel Nassif) unfortunately did not find their 2005 starts to be as successful as they would have planned, and did not make day 2.  They decided to join the Type 1 side event, only to run into the hands of our mighty General.

Besting the two best players on the planet?  How can ShortBus compare to that?

I know how Shay/Dubuc can best that.  It's called making day 2 of said PT Columbus event.
