Greetings!

First off, Thanks again to all you guys for an amazing turn out. Hopefully we can maintain the level of prizes that we've seen in the latter half of '04. We do have some goodies lined up for early '05, but you'll just have to wait and see.  Twisted Evil

Second thing , I think the earlier start time worked out great. We did have a couple folks show up at 1 apparently, but that's going to happen anytime you make changes like that I guess.

Thirdly, we've had some issues with proxies. From here on in, if you have a card, and you want to play with it, you must put the card in your deck. No exceptions, If you're borrowing cards off someone, it's your responsibility to get the cards before the event begins.

And finally, there has been some interest in raising the entry fee slightly to provide prizes for top 4 instead of just the first place prize. I talked to John, and he was cool with that, but we've only heard from a few of you guys. Let us know what you think by posting here, or sending me an email.

So, here's what we got left for the rest of '04.....

Sunday November 21st, 2004 at 11:00am
Entry Fee - $20.00
Prize - 1 Unlimited BLACK LOTUS (Very Good Condition)

Sunday December 19th, 2004 at 11:00am
Entry Fee - FREE!(as long as you played in one of the above events, otherwise, it's $5.00)
Prize - 1 Beta TIMETWISTER (Poor Condition)

Any questions? Give us a call at 416-599-6446 or email me at 401games@bellnet.ca

Thanks,

If you live in the GTA and you don't attend this event, you utterly suck.

401 convenience. The ghetto part of Toronto. Razz

It's at 401 Yonge Street. Just between Dundas and College subway stations. There's strip clubs and awesome food places all around there, so it's nice.

Ok, just to bring y'all up to speed, due to popular demand, we're upping the Entry Fee from $20.00 up to $22.00 and are supplying prizes for Top 4.
If we hit the 50 player mark, which we should easily surpass, the top 4 prizes will be as follows....

2nd - Mishra's Workshop
3rd - Illusionary Mask (Unlimited)
4th - Drop of Honey

I apparently forgot to give out directions in my original thread, so here we go.

We're right downtown in Toronto, just a few blocks N of the Eaton's centre at 401 Yonge St. We're very close to the corner of Yonge & Gerrard, and just about a block S of College St. If you would like a map, check out our webpage, and click on the link on the left that says "About Us". Our web address is www.401games.ca

As always, any questions, email at 401games@bellnet.ca or phone at 416-599-6446

We're also looking at doing Deck Lists for this event and some random deck checks throughout the day. It would be handy if folks could come with a decklist prepared in advance. I have provided a link to a PDF file for a standard DCI Decklist. So if you could print out and fill out a decklist in advance, it would be very helpful. I will, however have some of these available at the store previous to, and for the event for those who can't get one done in advance, or are unaware.

Thanks again,
