That looks really cool. I wish we had Halloween over here so I could carve the likeness of Bush. Or Darksteel Colossus!

Knowing popular american culture only tgrough the media, I immediately associate Halloween with Calvin & Hobbes comic strips, and the slaughter of scores of innocent and rather cute teenage girls.

Our Halloween activities are limited to watching new reports on how 240 US citizens dressed like freaks got peppersprayed and arrested.

We KINDA do a halloween thing, except we do it during the Catholic holiday Carnaval (you know, like in Rio de Janeiro). Notable differences to South-American carnival include the absence of scantily clad young women, the horrible Dutch 'schlager' music played in EVERY single goddamn bar for 5 nights in a row and the cold, dreary, rainy, depressing weather conditions of springtime Holland. Since it's a Catholic holiday, only the Southern parts of the Netherlands get in on the 'fun'. What happens is people dress like clowns (or if you're lucky: like Lara Croft), get drunk out of their skulls for 5 straight days while having casual sex and listening to some of the worst music mankind has even produced. h8 h8 h8.

For the European dudes Halloween is all about dressing up as something, watching scary movies, carving faces in pumpkins, and getting lots of candy.

Rockin' Pumpkin Matt!
I took my son out on Sunday, and it was friggin' cold, why must it always snow on Halloween in Colorado!? Although it was really the rain that sucked...

I'm glad you all approve.  I like the picture almost as much as the pumpkin itself.  The coolest thing about the thing is the eerie green light that the chemical sticks make.  Candles are for pansies who like orange light.  Green-orange teeth just screem Hulk to me.

Perhaps I will post a follow-up picture of Hulk-Smashed at a later date.
