Is Meandeck Doomsday the five Proxy deck of Choice?

I think people may be overestimating the difficulty of the deck a bit.  I have been playing combo for years in extended.  Decks like Angry Hermit, TurboLand, Life Loop, Gobvantage.  I got pretty quickly.  I'm not trying to say I'm a master at the deck, but after 20 or so goldfishes I really noticed a difference in the amount of times I would get a faster kill and set things up "right".  There are alot of budget players who aren't that good.  I'm not saying I'm better but I have an 1880 some rating.  So I think after 50 or so goldfishes a decent player will get a pretty good feel for the deck

I'm playing a deck thats allmost the same as the list posted by Smnenen, I'm handeling the deck pretty good so far.
There are no proxy tournaments here in the Netherlands so I play the deck without Black Lotus/Twister/Time walk. And its really godlike for me. I think that with 5 proxy's you can really kick some ***!

Just wondering maybe because I dont have the lotus but why is that Beacon of Destruction in the deck?  :shock:

Alternate win condition?

Doomday for Beacon, Mind's Desire, Dark Ritual, Ancestral Recall, and Black Lotus.

Stack like this, Recall, Ritual, Lotus, Desire, Beacon.

Recall into Rit, Lot, Desire

Ritual off one of your lands, then lotus, play desire for a total of at least 4 copies.  Reveal Beacon use it instantiously, shuffle it back in and continue doing for the remaining storm copies of Mind's Desire.
