For a few minutes today, Wizards leaked out images of the new Unhinged lands. I only got to take a screenshot of Swamp before they took it down. But man, it's hot!  Very Happy

Well, my jaw dropped.  I should expect no less from John Avon.  Was anyone else fortunate enough to get the other lands?

My mistake... They are still there, they just don't show up under autocard anymore. Here are Forest, Mountain, and Island (Plains not yet available...)

Enjoy!  Very Happy

Those are absolutely stunning.

That Forest is exceptional in particular.

Did they mention whether or not these would come in foil? I'd assume so, but one can never be sure.

The mountain and forest look like variations of basic land art that already exists, I can't remember exact sets but they definitely look similiar to ones I've already seen. The swamp and island look awesome, especially the swamp. The best word I can use to describe those is classy. They are pretty sophisticated, coming as they are from a goofoff set.

I'll definitely pick as many of those up as possible.

They are going to be expensive because they are uncommon. The average is like 2 in a box.

A+++ on the art. Avon scores again.
However I really don't like the overall look of the card. The Unglued frame was much better, IMHO, these look like a sticker stuck on a card. Hopefully this is just an impression from a pic, and the actual card will look better.

Agreed.  That's the first thing that went through my mind when I saw these.  The art, however, is impressive.

My favorite lands were from Ice Age and Mirage.  Blah.

Guru is still my favorite, but these go right into the #2 slots.  Except for the Island, which doesn't quite do it for me.  It figures.  The one basic land you'll actually USE and it has the least interesting picture. Smile

I will also have to say these are a disappointment. Unglued land had much better artwork. The big rectangle is ugly as hell.

I find the art to be wonderful.  The rectangle frame allows for more room for the art as well.

I still think Unglued lands are better. The art on the Unhinged lands is superb, but the layout sucks. Why did they leave so much room for the artist name. It would have been incredible cool if they didn't have a frame at all. They could have put the artist name in the artwork itself... Now, it feels a little odd. Maybe foils will look good IRL.

In the living room, Navidson discovers the echoes emanating from a dark, doorless hallway which has appeared out of nowhere in the west wall.

WOW!!! Really like these, a lot more than the Unglued ones. I like the square frame a lot!

I wonder if this artist is an Opeth fan because that swamp resembles much of the band's cover art, especially the album Blackwater Park.  On a whole these look awesome.

They'd better not be uncommon, or I'll go raise hell. They are simply so sweet. They might come even close to being better than APAC or Alpha/Beta lands... Very Happy

Only one word can describe those: Amazing.

Unglued Lands were goofy looking (and unappealing in my opinion), but these are just plain gorgeous.  The huge art is just awesome, and I love John Avon's landscapes.  These in foil are easily going to be the most amazing thing ever printed.
