Going 5-1 w/o top 8 sucks.

Loosing against a guy with Reanimator who had to read Underground Sea, FoW, and fetchland and didn't have a sideboard sucks even harder. Mad

Oh my, how lucky was he. He even won the game where he played Animate Death on his Akroma . Embarassed

For those people who have ever been beat down by the Blue Bringer and Volrath the Fallen, you know how I feel.

Let me give some highlights of the day.

1)I have a terrible draw. I have 1 land in play (no moxes), a Welder, and ALL my 3 big artifact men in my hand, no other cards. Even if I draw into Thirst I can't even cast it. I consider scooping
My opponent had casted Duress previously so he knows my hand. Nontheless, next turn, he casts MIND TWIST on me!!!. I happily discard some dudes, draw a Mox, Weld, and kill him.

My 5/3 opponent both have only lands and moxes in play. He topdecks and casts Smokestack.  Things are looking bad, as he will win the permanent race.
He has about 8 permanents in play, all land/moxes. I have 2 lands and 4 moxes. Then he casts Hurkyl's Recall on my artifacts!
During my upkeep I sac my 2 lands, no permanents left. And I say go. He sacks 2 permanents and says go. I do nothing and say go. He finally realizes that he has to sack his own Smokestack, but its too late. Next turn I drop all the moxes, and go nuts while he just lost 4 permanents..
