just a reminder this event is on sunday, I forgot that it was finals week and that may deter a few people from showing, However this tourney will still be the shiznit. Looking forward to a great turnout!

It was pretty bizarre. Myself, BrassMan, iamfishman, and Scott Limoges were all booted out of the winners brackets extremely early to people nobody's ever heard of. BrassMan and iamfishman were taken out of t8 contention by elves.
There were like 20-something people. I didn't see who won, because I was in the go home early bracket.

Top 8 in rank after round 5
1. travis laplante (me) with metalworker/tendrils
2. tariq playing meandeck oath
3 pat playing collossus/dragon fangs oath
4 chris hatcher playing welder mud + 3 maindeck duplicants
5 jay buda playing dragon
6 john smithers playing netdeck tps
7 ryan playing UW scepter chant
8 tristan husby playing GRO, yes, mystic enforcers
matches: top8
travis vs tristan - tristan takes the win 2-0, and I am shamed after losing only 1 game throughout the swiss
tariq vs ryan 2 teamates got paired in the top 8, tariq got the win
Jon vs pat after an hour long match, jon took the win in 3
chris vs jay Jay took the win in 3 games, welder mud needs maindeck chalices!!
top4:
jay vs tariq tariq wins 2-0
jon vs tristan pat wins 2-0
jon and tariq split the top 2 prizes taking the time walk and 100.00
overall it was a great turnout for finals week, 32 showed. Also very happy with the performance of my deck, since building it I've made 3out of 3 top 8's. However I have scrubbed out in the first single elimination round every time. My luck needs to last past 6:00 pm.
props: 1. everyone who showed and had a great time 2. moobius, who brought a game called flux which I still have no idea how to play 3. 1 team of 3 driving from new york to take 3 spots in the top 8. Pretty impressive.
slops:
1. Myself for not maindecking 1 chain of vapor:D
