Type 4: What's the pick?

8 cards from my newish stack. It's quite underpowered in general, with a relatively high proportion of random fat creatures. There are a reasonable number of birds in there too, hence Kangee. This set of 8 is one of the strongest packs I've seen from it, so I'll share it with you all:

So, first pick, first pack in a 4-person draft and the following come down:

Yavimaya's Embrace
Mindslaver
Elephant Ambush
Glarecaster
Stronghold Biologist
Kangee, Aerie Keeper
Soul Nova
Eight-and-a-Half-Tails

For the poll, what's the first pick and also, what would you expect to pick up last?

I would tentatively take 8.5 Tails first, given he stops any of your permenants being targeted or killed in combat by anything ever. I can see an arguement for Slaver or Glarecaster though. Last pick I would expect to see the Biologist, with an outside chance of Kangee.

I take Mindslaver first in a cake walk since it almost always results in a huge swing in the game or just outright killing atleast 1 player.  It makes some cards just a huge liability (Kuro, Protective Sphere, Soul Blast)

I see a low power stack making mindslaver fairly meh.  It needs to outright kill somebody or it isn't really good enough.

Eight and a Half Tails seems much more powerful in your stack, if you have a high concentration of d00ds.

I think Slaver would be good to take, even if it doesn't kill someone outright(which shouldn't be the pont of t.4) it's still strong enough to impose a nice board position. OUt of this pack I think Elephant Ambush would be last pick, it's just not strong enough.
