[Announcement] PSA Invitational Qualifier Chicago 12/12

Collecta Card N Comics and Cardshark.com are proud to bring you the PSA Invitational to a store near you. This is going to be the first of many PSA Invitational Qualifier tournaments all around the country. The winner of each Qualifier wins a spot in the current season's PSA Invitational tournament along with store prizes. The first prize for Winter Season PSA Invitational tournament will be a GEM MINT PSA 10 Unlimited Mox Sapphire which will be held at Pastimes in Niles,IL. Each season there will be a different piece of power awarded. Winter PSA Qualifier
Where: Collecta Card N Comics 6810 W. Archer Ave. Chicago IL
When:12-12-04
Entry:$12
Start:9:30 deck registration, 10:30 round 1 start
Proxies: 10 Proxies made on basics lands with all card information.
Prizes: 1st gets a spot in the Winter PSA Invitatinal being at Pastimes and store credit and/or store merchandise(The store has a huge card inventory) 2nd & 3rd get store credit and/or store merchandise

Manuel is there any clarifications yet as to HOW MUCH store credit will be awarded?  Is it going to be based on attendence?  Is it going to be enough to make the trip from northern Milwaukee worth it?

I will have to talk to the store owner but I am almost positive the prizes for 1st-3rd will be based on attendance. As far as being worth it, even if there is a small turn out you can win the spot to the PSA Sapphire tournament easily and that sapphire is worth many trips from northern wisconsin.

on a side note:  How many of the GWS crew plan on going to this thang?

I talked to the owner and he said that 90% of the entry fees will go to 1st-3rd.
