Hopefully, I won't lose interest in this as I have in the past. If you're interested in sponsoring this card, say so.
Literary Tutor 2U Sorcery Choose a non-italicized word in the rules text box of a permanent you control. Search your library for a card that has that word in its text box, reveal that card, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your library. (Mana Symbols and Tap Symbols are not words. Use the Oracle wording for all cards.)
There is an obvious wording issue (rules text box?). Flavor text suggestions would be nice. I also really wanted to make it black, but the mechanic and the name seems to fit blue so much better.
By the way, brownie points goes to anyone who can figure out where I the idea for this card. Hint: it's a book.

Well, this seems a bit too Unhinged for me, but who knows.
Anyway, if you want to exclude flavor text, just use the term "rules text." I am not sure, however, if this would exclude reminder text. Also, the term non-italized is sticky because any word in a flavor text that would be italicized in normal text becomes un-italicized.

Every time you played this you'd have to call over a judge....

We don't really do unglued/unhinged cards here.

It really wasn't meant to be an Unglued type card. I'll take suggestions for changes, though.
(Will be out of town for this weekend, so it may take a while for me to make changes.)

Unfortunately, for the card to work in an intuitive way, it would have to rely on the text printed in the text box of each card. Unfortunately, according to Oracle, that text may or may not be the card's actual rules text. Now, while everybody in a tournament setting may be aware of exactly how a card works, that doesn't mean they know its exact Oracle text. Thus, I agree with Upinthe's assessment -- whenever this is played, it will almost certainly require the consultation of a judge to ensure that only the correct Oracle wording is being used. In casual settings, it might be easier to arbitrate (Aww, just go with what's written on the card.) but it isn't good for a card to be played incorrectly just because it's easier to do so.
You've asked for suggestions, but I'm going to have to wait for you to return, so I know what exactly it is you're looking for. Nothing that is going to require encyclopedic knowledge of Oracle wordings is going to be acceptable, which almost certainly means that this is going to have to undergo drastic changes before it's printable.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

What's more, this seems to make foreign versions work differently than English. That's a huge "unglued" flag. No card that references words (as opposed to terms) belongs in a serious set.

Hmm... Ok. I guess I'll have to change it from relying on words, but I'd still like it to be based on some condition, i.e. permanents in play, cards in hand, or cards in the graveyard. Any suggestions?

Objection.
This card has too much Un flavor to be in a "serious" set.

How about:
Grave Theft B Sorcery
Search your library for a card with a converted mana cost equal to the number of cards in your graveyard, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library afterward.

How about:
Grave Theft B Sorcery
Search your library for a card with a converted mana cost equal to the number of cards in your graveyard, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library afterward. This can get any land on turn one, and better cards later. It might be too strong.

Yeah, I'd be happy with a 1B CMC or letting it be just "greater than the number of cards in your graveyard". At least that gets rid of the land aspect; as it is, it's a hugely superior variant of Sylvan Scrying.

It actually seems a bit narrow to me, other than the turn 1 Non-Fetch, This, Tolarian turn 2 or turn 1 Fetch, This, Ancestral turn 2. Having it rely on the graveyard is kind of iffy, since it's easy to fill up. EDIT: Greater than still has problems of searching for stuff like Ancestral early and Bargain or Desire later on, but it would be much better than equal to.
I'm looking for this to have a converted casting cost of three or less. Any more and I don't think it'd be very useful.
Here's another idea, but this is in no way final. Keep the suggestions going, please.
Name B Sorcery Target opponent searches your library for X cards with different names, where X is the number of permanents you control. Choose one of them and put it into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your library.
EDIT #2: I just realized that this may have a problem. It probably needs to be "reveal your library," to prevent your opponent from fail searching.
