I just happened by this card today while sorting through some of the newer sets, and it caught my eye as a way for Affinity/Draw-7/Belcher (with Living Wish) to get around Trinisphere. Granted, usually decks that run Trinisphere are also sporting 5 Wastelands, but this could give you the turn that you need to "go off."

Does anyone else think it has potential for a sideboard card?

For reference:

Blinkmoth Well
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
2, T: Tap target noncreature artifact.

Living Wish, +1x Mana (tapping the well), +2x mana (activation cost) = 5 total mana to tap down a Trinisphere for a turn.

I, for one, would rather just side in Oxidizes. It's a decent 1-of in the sideboard, and it might save your ass sometimes, but not TOO frequently. If you need the room for something else, I wouldn't be too bothered to cut it.

Good thought, though. Now I have a use for that previously useless Foil Well I've been stuck with for God knows how long.

I don't think Living Wish is necessarily a card that would be in any of those decks, and paying 4 + a land drop is not condusive for a speedy turn. I primarily play Affinity, and I guess what I'm wondering is whether or not it would be worth to run two in the sideboard.

why not just use relic barrier.  Its cheaper and a little harder to kill n the long run.  However, its much easier to just hurkyl's recall/rebuild on their endstep and then try ang go off.

Yes, Relic Barrier is infinitely superior; thank you for the recommendation (note the time stamp when I posted that; I haven't been asleep for nearly 20 hours).

Many Belcher decks run Living Wish.  That is why this card is useful to put in the SB.  I think it is a good idea.  I mean Belcher barely uses its SB anyways.  I can always put like 12 or 13 cards then I throw in random for the remaining spots of a belcher deck.  I would not SB it in, it would be solely to wish for game 1.  I side in Oxidizes and Workshops(if going second) with Belcher against 3sphere.dec.
