I'm sure this has been asked several times, but what happens if I cast meditate in response to a slaver activation? What's the official ruling? this has happened more than once now, and i still haven't got a definitive answer. Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that Mindslaver lets your opponent control your next turn, no matter when that occurs.  I don't think the situation is too different from if your opponent activates a Mindslaver against you and then Time Walks.  Mindslaver lets him control the next turn you take, whether or not he takes a few turns before your turn happens.

The confusing thing is...you skip the turn that he jacks. That part is hella confusing. If you time walk, then activate slaver, YOU take the extra turn, then take theirs. If they meditate, they just skipped their "next turn," the turn that they were supposed to take. Does it fizzle?

The game does not keep track of which effects apply to specific turns.  This is similar to how if you Meditate in the same turn you Mana Drain, you get the mana in the precombat main phase of the next turn you actually do take, instead of just losing the mana because you skipped the turn when you were supposed to get it.  What Meditate essentially says is, "The next time you would take a turn, instead do not take a turn."  What Mindslaver essentially says is, "The next time target opponent ACTUALLY DOES take a turn, you control it."  So Meditating allows your opponent to take another turn before he gets to control your turn, but he will still get to control it.

Here also is the relevant rule:

507.1b If a turn is skipped, any pending turn-controlling effects wait until the player who would be affected actually takes a turn.
