Merry Christmas to everybody.  Anybody get anything particularly good?

Aside from a bunch of good music, I got a really nice chip set/case of 500 clay chips.  I'm going to ignore school work as soon as I go back to Chicago in favor of poker.

A couple DVDs, printer cartridges (don't laugh, they're like $40 each for my printer!) and Half-Life 2

$100 towards a new computer, a couple DVD's, new sandals (Birkenstocks), and a Lego snowspeeder.  I still have crap to get from my dad when I go home on Monday though, so I may edit this as well.

I got a spiffy Denon DVD player with DVI output and upconversion to 720p/1080i for my awesomely awesome DLP TV.  Being a "poor college student" is so...not...in my case...

And Buffy Seasons 6 and 7. That show was amazing.

Nintendo DS... And a gamer sister. She's played with it more than twice as long as me, and she gave it to me. To anyone interested, Sega's Feel the Magic is the chic game on the DS.

Oh yes, and 3 wasted days trying to get Ghost 9's CD to boot on an external CD drive, courtesy of Toshiba Canada's tech support. "Oh yes, a screen being stuck at maximal brightness, even in the BIOS, could be due to a corruption of the Windows installation. Please do a system restore and uninstall SP2." -- Apu, tech support guy.

Happy new year everyone! Don't take any hard resolution!

Pair of trekking poles (I already own a set!). A coffee maker (I've wanted one my whole life and never got around to buying one. I'm enjoying the second cup of coffee from it now.) Those were from friends.

And the first season of 24 and a Schoeller Dryskin softshell jacket from me to me.

PTW: Is that Rygar the same as the old school Rygar for NES? Because if it is, then DAMN Smile that game was tight.

From people at work:

boss: $50 gift cert. to Future Shop (went towards a Gameboy Advanced, the one with the "old school" NES controller colors)
$20 from this elderly couple, and a jacket he didn't want (and I don't want it either, it's like 3 different neon colors but it's the thought that counts)
A tin of cookies and chocolate
A 1kg box of Truffles (possibly the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted)
Another Gift cert. to Future Shop ($25) from another lady (she's a milf so I might just go over to her suite and thank her myself Smile ).

Friends and Family:

Shirt and gloves from mom
Jacket from Aunt #1
Towels from Aunt #2
Hoodie sweater from Aunt #3
Sweater with local University logo (SFU) from my sister
Chocolate from a family friend
The latest 007 game for GC from a friend (and since I don't have a GC I left it at my friends house because he has one)
FF1 and FF2: Dawn of Souls for GBA from another friend (FUCK YEAH)
Magic Cards from KandyKid

and that about does it. I'm expecting a couple more because there's some people I haven't seen yet, but nothing big.

Oh and for myself I bought BLOODSPORT for DVD.
