http://www.urgames.com/games/geography-game-middle-east

I scored best, shamefully on North America and South America, followed by the Middle East, Europe, and Africa didn't quite reach -500 (I resorted to clicking a country until it worked).

How well do you know your geopolitical boundaries.

p.s. Don't mind that it was drawn by a 3 year old.

Europe was horrible.  I didn't even know some of those countries were in Europe, let alone where they are.  I guess it's ok because I'm an American, so I can always play up to the stereotype that I have no idea where anything is because I don't care about the rest of the world, or something.

I did well on the Canadian one.  Does that count for anything?  Very Happy

Middle East 140 - How did I miss Kuwait, Afganistan, Pakistan, and Jordan?
Europe 305 - Made lots of mistakes... So many countries broke up...
South America 70 - This was hard
Africa -990 - Just sad
Canada 75
USA 435 - I blame the NE and the terrible illustrations
Central America 25
Australia 65 - Not because I knew them but the names were giveaways

I was disappointed with how I did in the Middle East with a few countries. I missed a few in Europe I should not have. Africa was a lost cause and I don't have a problem not caring. I blame the illustrations for any and every US miss.

United States- 490.... Stupid Rhode Island being further east than Massachusettes...
South America- 125
Central America- 45
Australia- 55- Who the hell cares, anyway?
Africa- -375- Fucking impossible.

So yeah, I guess you could say I'm a geography buff of sorts.  Stupid Africa...

Middle East: 160
USA: 485 (I fucked up on Vermont/New Hamppshire, bu I blame that totally on the crudeness of the map - I know what Vermont is shaped like. I also fucked up Colorado because I was going too fast and clicked the first rectangle I could saw, which was Wyoming).
Australia: 60
Canada: 100
South America: 55
Central America: 55
Europe: 130 - Why does Russia have a little slice off in the middle of nowhere? Why is Turkey never where I want it to be? And how am I supposed to know the difference between Yugoslavia, Croatia, and Bosnia&Herzogovenia? The damn borders change on a weekly basis!
Africa: -675

I'll second this.  I screwed up Colorado as well.  After I got it the second time, I was like "That's not where Colorado is."  I also had trouble finding Delaware because it wasn't really where it was supposed to be.

Don't feel bad - I fucked up slightly on former Joegoslavie, too. Too confusing. The bit that Russia has that's not connected to it, used to be connected to it (hey, Hawaii's not connected to the USA now, is it? Does it really matter if it's separated by water or land?). And a couple of years from now, Turkey will be where none of us want it to be, namely in Europe...

I got a perfect on the Middle East, but it took me an extra minute because there is a mistake in their map. Bahrain is actually a tiny country next to Qatar, next to the UAE. Their map has no Qatar, and Bahrain is in its place. (See http://worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/me.htm )

US and Europe were obviously easy. I even got Herzegovina right. My only problem was remembering which one was Romania. South America's problem was that I thought Suriname was the third one. Canada wasn't a problem, either, despite my American propensity for thinking the Northwest Territories are inextricably connected with what is actually Nunavut, thanks to playing Risk in childhood.

Africa was a slaughter. I can get most of the center, east, and north, but the western coast wrecks me.

I didn't bother with Australia because I had to think for a minute to remember that they have provinces there. Central America I screwed up because I couldn't remember what order the countries went in, even though at one time I knew them.

I scored 430 on the USA because I kept trying to insist that ohio was on the west coast. I dont know why, but I thought it was funny and I kept doing it. I sort of wish ohio would move to the west coast, and thus be located far from michigan.

Hey, Ohio is just like baby canada, south instead of north and east. Dont get all mad at me because you dont even have the decency to be another country.

That said, my distaste for Ohio is entirely centered around a town called Lorain and a place called the Flying Machine. That, a hooker, a cop, and 3 guys who thought I was jesus.
