Here is my Budget Oath build.

// Mana

4 Islands
4 Tropical Islands
2 Wasteland
4 Forbidden Orchard
2 Tundra
1 Savannah
4 Flooded Strand

1 Chrome mox
1 Lotus petal

// Creatures

1 Akroma, angel of wrath
1 Spirit of the night

// Spells

4 Oath of druids
2 Intuition
4 Brainstorm
3 Impulse
1 Misdirection
4 Accumulated Knowledge
2 Mana Leak
1 Gaea's Blessing
4 Counterspell
4 Force of Will
1 Fact or Fiction
2 Annul
2 Swords to Plownshares
1 Balance

I've added white to kill early creatures and added annul to counter early threats because the lacking of acceleration makes my deck slower

I want someone to tell me what to add and wat to take out.

Thanks

There are already 2 budget oath threads open, each with more or less the same info. Although I am not sure this thread has enough substance that deserving of its own thread, I am currently working on a budget oath deck, so Ill throw my two cents and let the mods sort it out.

First off the white splash is horrible. Oath has 2 set colors (U/G), and the only other color of choice would be black.

White brings StP and possibly balance. Balance is horrible for this deck as it makes you not oath. StP is a reactive answer for a deck that is mainly about putting into play 2 threats which also messes with your math as Akroma and SotN does 18 dmg 2 turns after you oath (6 + 6x2) making the finish line a little bit further which buys them extra turns without doing anything. Also splash of white messes with the mana base as you are forced to w/x duals which are prone to wastes all for StP and balance which hurts this deck more than it helps.

Black brings Duress, Vamp/Demonic Tutors, and Lim-Dul's Vault. All more valuable than balance and StP. Is it worth the splash? If you read the article that was written about Oath after its conception, the creators thought no. (http://www.starcitygames.com/php/news/expandnews.php?Article=8343) For a budget deck in a non cuthroat meta, black can be splashed with little consequence.

With your deck list, intuition can not be run withdrains or power. After you have enough mana to intuition for ak's, you could have casted oath and won the game next turn instead of just drawing 3 cards. Read the other threads, as they have a fairly good discussion of the deck in its budget and non budget form.

So in closing, your decklist is horrible. Sad Alot of work needs to be put in it.

Back to lurking the boards for me.

This will probably get locked because you have just a decklist. But Ill put in my .02 before that time.

Why?
The better strategy would be to get an oath out, vomit up a huge critter, and protect it for the win. There is really no sense in worrying about your opponents critters for the sole reason that yours have haste, and are usually bigger.

Cut white, add a color that this deck likes . . . Black. This gives you access to FoW 5-8 commonly known as Duress, and as well as the skeletal scrying draw. Not to mention the hotness of demonic tutor.

Next. Why run Intuition/AK engine in this deck, its most crummy with no drains, and no moxen. Not to mention you are now stuck with the AK in the match against tog, and can loose to being the first bastard to play an AK. While he sits back and outdraws you with deep analysis.

The mana base you sit atop is also off par. You want all 5 strip effects, these days they can be crucial in that match against oath, as well as eating those workshops that are all to common in the current field. I would propose a list something closer to this for a budget oath.

4 Oath of Druids
2 Gaea’s Blessing
1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath
1 Spirit of the Night

4 Duress
3 Counterspell
2 Mana Leak
4 Force of Will
2 Misdirection
2 Daze

4 Brainstorm
3 Skeletal Scrying
1 Fact or Fiction

1 Demonic Tutor
2 Cunning Wish

1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
4 Forbidden orchard
3 Tropical Island
2 Underground Sea
3 Island
1 Swamp
4 Polluted Delta
1 Chrome Mox
1 Lotus Petal

Sideboard Suggestions:
Stifle
Echoing Truth
Stp
Rack and Ruin
Ray of Revelation
Reb
Beb
Platinum Angel
Pristine Angel
