This is my old Shopping for Fat deck revised for the times.

Trash for Treasure
      by BeBe

4 Goblin Welder
3 Trash for Treasure
2 Squee, Goblin Nabob
1 Anger
1 Wheel of Fortune

4 Survival of the Fittest
4 Basking Rootwalla
3 Arrogant Wurm
3 Naturalize

4 Juggernaut
3 Sundering Titan
1 Plat Angel
1 Memory Jar

2 Mountain
4 Forest
4 Taiga
4 Wooded Foothill
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mana Crypt
1 Sol Ring
1 Black Lotus
1 Mana Vault
4 Bazaar of Baghdad

sb
Blood Moons, R+R, ReBs, Pyrostatics, Eon Hubs and maybe Ray of Revelations.

First ... Why no blue? TnT went back and forth iadding and removing blue. Obviously a two color build lends a little stability but blue is a great addition. Because it never used blue in the past i decided to keep the build  G/R so I could utilize Blood Moons out the side.

Getting fat out ...
SotF
BoB
Goblin Welder
Trash for Treasure

SotF just seems right in the deck.  Granted that in todays day and age it can be slow and TFK and blue in general are the new tech but it is still one of my favorite cards.
BoB was at the heart of this deck. When i first posted the build people questioned the need for both SotF and BoB. My answer has not changed ... redundancy is some good.
Welder and Trash - you have to get the fat on the table.  Once again th3e deck is geared to be somewhat redundant.

The creatures
Anger
Squee
Arrogant Wurms
Basking Rootwallas
Juggernauts
Sundering Titan
Plat angel

This is my old Shopping for Fat deck with the addition oif Titans, a Plat and Trash for Treasure. The old deck had Phyrexian Colossus, a few Roars, and other big fat artifact creatures. It was built a year and half ago. With the new sets I added a stronger creature base and Trash for Treasure. When Cerebral Assasin came out I had to chuckle seeing how a viable deck was actually put together with BoB and artifacts. This plays out more like a dirty cheap TnT.
So looking at  Cerebral I shamelessly stole the Sundering Titan tech.
Juggernauts just keep the pressure on and often have won ngames on their lonesome.
With BoB and SotF it is transparent to use Wurms and Rootwallas. This deck can lay out the beats alla Oshawa Stompy if necessary and makes the control match up much easier.
Plat was added as insurance for combo but will it ever get out fast enough?
The earliest you see it is generally turn three or four. Sometimes of use.
Squee and Anger do not need explanations. Oner Squee is usually enough with SotF but it is tempting to add a few more for the BoBs. The reality is that one or two activations of BoB is often enough and you can discard Rootwallas, Anger and Wurms as well.

The rest ...
Naturalize
Wheel of fortune
Memory Jar

The deck initially had Fiery Tempers over Natuaralize. How tiomes have changed.
A little additional search in Wheel and Jar are welcome as the deck runs no blue at all.

BTW, this forum is not posting enough fun decks these days. While alternate format decks are nice what happened to the old days of casual elegance when Puschkin and Sylvester posted there newest confections.

Yeah, sad, isn't it? But the remedy is near  Cool

Your deck is pretty straight and -like most of your decks- pretty strong for Casual, but I guess thats the tribute one has to pay these days.

My questions on this deck would be:
Why no Wheel of Fortune? Seems like it would be a natural choice for this deck because it can replenish your deck, put cards into your grave AND can be used with madness cards.

Then, what are your reasons to play BoB over Anvil of Bogardan?

Finally, is this playtested already? And if so, did the Sundering Titan do his dirty work or did it turn out to shred your own lands more often than would be healthy for you?

Pusch - it is so nice to see you back.
Why no Wheel? There is a Wheel. Group one ...

Wht BoB over Anvil? When I first posted this deck ... maybe a year and half ago/two years ago? - I PMed the list to you!  Madness was just being played and I had dropped Toronto Stompy - the original Type 1 Madness deck - to play around with this. Also Dragon was not yet posted on the boards as You liked the BoBs then. You play BoB because it is uncounterable and free and Anvil isn't but for casual Anvils are very cool as the price of BoBs increased after Dragon surfaced. This was a casual deck back in the day.

The original list was played at tournaments and if memory serves did well enough for me to run it a few times. I keep this deck for fun games only as I use Highlander at major tournaments now - yes I'm as rogue as ever. The Titan generally takes a Forest when it hits. Many decks run mountains. The game is usually won once it hits. It shreds everyone's land.

BTW, I get fat on the table as fast as any deck out there. I can fight through hate pretty well also as it is quite resiliant and redundant and can win without using the graveard.

I eagerly await your newest creation. Its been too long since we've heaqrd from you. I still play our Butter Cutter once in awhile. Remember this? I sent the above deck to you around the same time.

I think it probably has something to do with the lack of responses.  Look down the lists and see how many replies these threads actually get - it's basically pretty negligible.

Too many people seem to have lost sight of Magic being "just for fun" and a social activity, as opposed to balls to the wall Type I brokenness for the sole purpose of winning tournaments.

Most serious players aren't going to "waste" their time in this forum, and most casual players come to TMD for a glimpse of tournament godliness, forgetting that their favorite deck of all time was the "pimple" theme deck or their prized Firebreathing Ornithopters....

Not me.  While I'm going to continue to try to make a deck that is actually tournament worthy, I'm not going to forget my roots in Magic.

Beware the Holy Compass (Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western Paladins with Distorting Lenses), tremble in fear (feigned or otherwise) from the Mythic Proportioned Academy Researcher, and quake in your booties at the awesome sight of an incoming Swamp Mosquito..... Rolling Eyes
