I remember a while back there were threads with tournament repoorts from a store called C&J's. They used to report there results often but it all seemed to stop when the "legend of magic" incident occurred.

Are there any users that still go to this store in California? Do they still support tournaments? Is there a decent crowd for type 1 tourneys?

i havnt seen any of the colorful yet pityful reports in a while. so i called the store just to make sure its still around. it is. my guess is thelegendofgayness plus the fear of losing to salvagers.dec was to much to handle.

santa rosa players still would beat up on c&j players.

socal? lol

i had to reread the t1 worlds report... seems like c&j put 3 in top 8 while socal only had 1 in top 8. heard the only socal to make top 8 did so 'cuz he got the last round opponent to concede... otherwise another c&j player would have made it.

therefore
if santa rosa > c&j and c&j > socal
then santa rosa >> socal

bow down.

As soon as you stop saying hella, we'll talk.  Until that day comes, no matter what results ever occur, you don't stand a chance.

Where do the Santa Rosa people have their tournaments?

Are they sanctioned or not? Proxy or not?

Weekly? Monthly? What?

As for the tournies at C&J's, the tournies are held every Thursday, it's free, and many people there are fully powered.

And yeah, the mini-tournament reports stopped when I got enough feedback on my deck to find out what makes it work. Yes, there was other drama involved (including banning 2 people), but I stopped going for a while purely due to monetary considerations (120 miles round trip! ugh!)
