It's great to see results being reported from a different part of the world! Seems like an interesting metagame, the main constants (relative to the U.S, European and Italian metagames) being Dragon (2 placings) and Workshop decks, along with the Fish deck in 7th. I would love to see more T1 results coming out of Japan in the future.
It would be nice to know the missing cards in decks #2-4 and #7 though, as they have 52, 58, 54 and 58 cards respectively. Hopefully whoever posted them can fix that.
Also interesting that there were no Mana Drains in the T8.

Butter Knives! Oh man, that brings back memories.
I'd bet that 4 of the missing cards in that enchantress deck are Squirrel Nests.

It would be incredible to see what the japanese deckbuilders could come up with given the cardpool available in type 1. I hope type 1 starts/continues(?) to grow over there.

The Japanese create some pretty wild decks and have some pretty unique ideas. But these results mostly make baby Jesus cry (at least the first few decks do). The worst part of it all is that this is on wizards.com so tons of players will read those lists and think they're the best decks in the format (or that Enchantress is remotely good), which makes it so much harder for us to instill "proper notions" of the format in the masses. It pains me whenever I have to argue with someone that decks I've never heard of are terrible because they lose to practically everything in the format. I had to argue with a guy the other day that
the
deck that ran 4 Gush had Quirion Dryad as its centerpiece. Apparently he thought that the "Gro" in "Gro-a-tog" had nothing to do with Dryad. He then said "I don't know where you're getting your information..."

To be fair, there are no power cards for thousands of miles out there in Japanland.

I'm suprised that many players actually had P9 to use in the tourney. Plus c'mon, it was at a GP, they probably made the decks in 5 minutes and played them. If they took the format seriously, we could probably see some amazingly inventive decks from them (Just take examples from 1.x and T2).
