Hi,

As one of those who played Enchantress back when it was good in type 1 (well, sort of) and liked it a lot, I am trying to come up with new ways to abuse this extremely fun card.

It is quite clear that the result will not be the new best deck in vintage, so here it is in the casual forum, though I still like my casual decks to be somewhat competitive.

I am looking for suggestions to make the deck better or more fun.

The relatively untested list:

4 Endless Wurm
4 Argothian Enchantress
4 Enchantress Presence
4 Rancor
1 Ground Seal
1 Sylvan Library

4 Auratog
1 Worship
3 Seal of Cleansing
1 Spirit Link
1 Enlightened Tutor
1 Replenish

3 In the Eye of Chaos
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk

1 Fastbond
3 Exploration
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Sol Ring
3 Ancient Tomb
4 Windswept Heath
3 Tropical Island
3 Savannah
1 Plains
1 Forest

Any and all suggestions are very welcome!

I think you should use Femeref Enchantress, since you're already using Auratog/Endless Wurm.  I think 4 of each of those might be overkill as well; 2 of each should be fine for your kill.  Worship and Spirit link are both pretty weak compared to other cards.  Take a look at Solitary Confinement and Aspect of Mongoose.  Also, since you seem to be running a lot of 1-ofs, consider using Sterling Grove.  It works great with Femeref, and can help preserve the toolbox feel of the deck.  Your mana base looks good, but I think a single Serra's Sanctum could replace an Ancient Tomb.  Flagstones of Trokair good be a good inclusion as well.  Lastly, even though Exploration is a strong card, you're running so much artifact mana that it might not be so helpful.  If you're looking for a cheap 1 drop to feed to the enchantress, then Elephant Grass or Wild Growth might be better.

So, altogether I'd make these changes to end up with a decklist that looks like this:

Enchantress
4 Femeref Enchantress
4 Argothian Enchantress
2 Auratog
2 Endless Wurm

1 Replenish
1 Enlightened Tutor
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Regrowth

4 Enchantress Presence
3 Sterling Grove
3 Wild Growth
3 Seal of Cleansing
2 Aspect of Mongoose
2 Rancor
1 Solitary Confinement
1 In the Eye of Chaos
1 Sylvan Library
1 Fastbond

1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Sol Ring

4 Windswept Heath
2 Wooded Foothills
3 Savannah
2 Tropical Island
1 Taiga
1 Serra's Sanctum
1 Plains
1 Forest

Sideboard:
4 Ground Seal
4 Pyrostatic Pillar
2 Ghostly Prison
2 Solitary Confinement
2 City of Solitude
1 Seal of Cleansing

If this was going to be played at a competative tournament, I'd suggest adding Taigas and putting 4 Pyrostatic Pillar in the Maindeck.

My list always included Birds of Paradise and Ancestral Mask.  Ah, the days of winning Extended tournaments by attacking with 54/49 trampling Birds of Paradise....

I think I post this in just about every Enchantress thread, but here goes: G/b Enchantress with Squandered Resources is pretty damn degenerate.  I play with 4x Wild Growth and 4x Utopia Sprawl to cycle/draw cards for 0 mana with an Enchantress in play, and 4x Gaea's Touch as additional acceleration.  Genju of the Cedars provides an alternate beatdown win, as well as interacting nicely with Squandered Resources (it functions like Rancor in an Auratog build, but your sac outlet is an enchantment).  The standard win is to Tendrils for a whole bunch after blasting through the whole deck, typically on turn 4.  If you can resolve 2 enchantress effects with a Squandered Resources in play, you pretty much win the game right there.
