If you're mindslavered, and your opponent causes you to waste your own land, can he choose and destroy a permanent of one of your opponent.

To be clear:
#1 Opponent Mindslavers you
#2 On your turn (mindslavered) you waste your own land
#3 Could he choose to activate karmic justice?

Based on the answer to my question there, I would say no.

No, because KJ only catches "destroy" effects, not sacrifices.

Are you sure in this point ? Karmic Justice is one of the typical Parfait cards to combat stax decks...

If so, then it's really bad tech, since it doesn't work.

The card specifically says 'spells or abilities that destroy a noncreature permanent'. Smokestack makes you sacrifice things, which is not the same. From the old ruling summaries:

Quote from: D'Angelo (speaking about KJ)
A spell or ability that asks for a sacrifice will not trigger this card. [Odyssey FAQ 2001/10/04]

Karmic Justice is a typical Parfait card to fight Pernicious Deed. Sacred Ground helps against Smokestack.
