City of Betrayers
Land
T: An opponent chooses a color. Add one mana of any color other than the chosen color to your mana pool. Play this ability only anytime you could play an instant. This mana doesn't cause mana burn.

Current wording:
City of Betrayers
Land
T: An opponent chooses a color. You may add one mana of any color other than the chosen color to your mana pool. Play this ability only anytime you could play an instant.

-------------
This is rather bad, as you're never getting what you want. Could it find some use? If you get two or three critical spells in your hand it may be OK.

Nice one Smile

But "This mana doesn't cause mana burn." has to be cut or rephrased. Does it leave the mana pool?

I don't see the reasoning behind the third ability. I say if you get a color you can't use, tough luck. Otherwise, since it'll produce colorless in many situations, I think this is fine as a very limited card to be used in weird decks like Sunburst or Atogatog.dec or something.

If you do decide to leave the ability, you can just use the templating that the BoK green guys use.

If you want to avoid mana burns, just change it to:

T: An opponent chooses a color. You may add one mana of any color other than the chosen color to your mana pool. Play this ability only anytime you could play an instant.

This is really freaking horrible. It needs to do SOMETHING better, or something else.

Yes they do.  It specifically says until end of turn on the cards...

I'd like to imprint My Cock on that. If she handles it right, it makes white mana.
