It occured to me after I thought of the name that it was mighty similar to [card]Angelic Chorus[/card]. Consider this, then, a tribal tribute to its predecessor. |

Meh. By the time this generates enough life to make it worthwhile, you most likely have won anyway. I mean, if you have something like 5 modern creatures of the same creature type in play, your opponent is in trouble if you picked the right ones. Doesnt even matter if they are Goblins, Wizards, Zombies or Slivers. You'll do crazy stuff with that horde anyway.

That isn't exactly true, Puschkin. Maybe it wouldn't be of much use in a constructed match, but if something like this had existed in Onslaught block (or even Kamigawa block, with all of the spirits), it would make a neat addition to a limited deck. It's pretty easy to get to five mana in a limited game and even just a couple of life points can make a difference. Plus, even if it's a fairly small consideration, this is the kind of card that casual Johnnies can play with. It's a way to make mediocre tribal decks a little bit better in the long game.

Does this have a rather nice casual interaction with Beacon of Creation? If so, I like it - and if not, then I think we need to change the wording so that it works. Then I would like it.

To the best of my knowledge, yes, this has the desired interaction with Beacon of Creation (the same what that the Zuberas have a desired interaction with Devouring Greed.)
