My psychatog has trouble with oath decks is this natural? or should psychatog be able to defeat oath regularly? im considering main decking sumthing that will help vs turn1 oath of druids play, or should i just mulligan till i get a force? if not is chain of vapors a good main deck call? seems to work well vs alot of decks, even dragon to an extent.  or should i just join the bandwagon and play oath?

You must be doing something drastically wrong to have trouble with the Oath matchup.  For starters, what "Psychatog" version are you running?  3-color is generally unacceptable in my book.

First: in the Vintage Open forum, there is a closed thread on "Adapting 'Tog to Win in this Metagame."  I suggest thoroughly reading it and seeing why the suggestions that were made in that thread were made at all.

Second: Oath can sometimes just drop turn one Oath with double counter back-up.  Accept it, and curse the fact that you lost to a statistic, and shove game 2 & 3 wins down your opponent's throat.

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

As said by Revvik, sometimes Oath gets an unbeliveable opening draw, and you just have to deal with it.

From my experience, if I get to turn three without letting an Oath hit the table, theres a good chance I'm gonna win the game.  First turn Duress followed up with some basics to protect against Wasteland usually works for me.
