Are there really no Relentless Rats that have been posted here yet?

Legacy Rats:
//Rats
     15 Relentless Rats
//Draw
     4 Desperate Research
     4 Night's Whisper
//Disruption
     4 Wasteland
     4 Hymn to Tourach
     4 Duress
     4 Lose Hope
//Mana
     13 Swamp
     4 Dark Ritual
     4 Chrome Mox

I just found this in my Apprentice files (isn't it fun to look through old decks) and it's so much fun I had to throw it out here.  Any deck that can make use of Desperate Research has to be great, no?  Anyway, it's very simple.  Play rats.  Get two to four out there and beat down with them.  If they get killed, play more.

Night's Whisper is always great.  Desperate Research naming Relentless Rats should always pick up around two Rats, not only increasing your concentration of threats but also clearing out some of the rubble in the way.

Lose Hope is in there, for some reason.  I couldn't think of anything better on the fly.  One mana to knock off a 1 toughness creature, or it can be used for combat tricks.  Scry is very good too.  Meh.

Comments?  Suggestions?  This will be my pet project for the next ten minutes or so, so I want to make it the best Relentless Rats deck possible.  Mono-black please.

Personally, I think the best way to abuse relentless rats is not mono black.  In particlar ... green has some very good additions that can abuse Relentless Rats.  Just my opinion, sorry if this isn't helpful at all.

I meant mono-black because it's simpler and I'm a lazy bum.

If you know some good ways to use green, please discover them.

EDIT: Sorry, have Shakespeare on my brain.  If you know some good ways to use green, please tell me.

That does sound good.  Too bad it will only sound good, because I don't have any bazaars, nor do I intend to spring for them.

But there's always Appr/MWS.  How would your Rat Bidding deck look?

I have a deck called "Mono-Black Orbs" based on Mesmeric Orb (yes!), Gaea's Blessing and Nether Shadow/Ashen Ghoul/random Reanimate spells, 4 Skullclamp, but the rest of your deck looks like mine.

The point?

I have a 15 card sideboard of 15 Relentless Rats! (15 Relentless Rats for Sui-black Sideboard?... Check... I can die now...)
