So I bought a box of P3K (S.Chinese) pretty cheap.

I know Imperial Seal is hot but are there any other cards that you think will see play from that set?

Imperial seal, personal tutor and maybe grim tutor and goblin lore (could be nice in a madness deck for instance), and Control of the Court (which is the same as goblin lore). Probably nothing else. However I don't remember if the above cards are from P3K or one of the other now-legal sets, sorry.

Those aren't from Portal Three Kingdoms, which was the set he asked about, though.

There's some semi-interesting stuff in P3K. It's better than the most recent block we got, anyway ;-)

- Rolling Earthquake (Hurricane meets Earthquake...this baby kills it all...you know noone will be playing horsemanship crearures ;-)
- Control of the Court (possibly for madness or other combo that benefits from getting stuff in the yard...hint, hint. Nice if you already wanted to include Goblin Lore in your deck. Now you have eight copies :-P)
- Lu Xun, Scholar General (it's sort of interesting, as it is at least better than Thieving Magpie...just a shame it's legendary).

Yeah, Horsemanship wont probably ever see play, but it would be really really cool, (and really really hilarious) if we saw a horsemanship deck hit some top eight lists. To tell you the truth, i dont really even know how horsemanship works.

Actually, I am really surprised at everyone that I have heard talk about portal. There is a P3K card that I have been really excited about since I saw it years ago, and no one has mentioned it! I think it is a really solid card.

Yes, that is rather good. I missed it when scanning the spoiler. It reminds me soemwhat of Portal's 'Omen':

Obviously the library shuffling thing (which means you at least daw a random card of the top 3 are crap) can be useful, but I guess putting two in the yard has its perks, too. Strategic planning is a sort of bad TFK, which is not to say it's bad, period.

I think not. It's a sorcery, and you can't discard cards from your hand. It's probably better into some kind of Threshold / Gro deck.

Salvage looks decent:

Salvage - G - Sorcery -  Take any one card from your graveyard and put that card on the top of your library.

If you could string it with ancestral or time walk it would be sweet. Maybe in something like PTW's eternal witness deck.

Edit: my bad, didn't know about that card. Just trying to be helpful.

Or you could play Reclaim, and get the same effect at instant speed.

Man I am getting sick of people doing this! On SCG I had to inform some guy who thought Cruel Bargain was going to be an automatic four-of in SX and restricted in the next B&R list that Infernal Contract already existed and sucked.
