I've been playing Vintage for about a year and a half now, but over that time, my playgroup has been dwindling.  We'd routinely have 4-5 people to play cards every night, but school/work has gotten way busy for some of the guys, a couple got girlfriends who suck up way too much time, and one guy sold his cards to buy a TV.  Anyway..... now my once healthy playgroup consists of me and whatever scrub opponents I can find to play on Apprentice.

Needless to say this leaves me playing a lot less that I would like.   I live in Davis, CA and was wondering if any of ya'll TMD readers from the region (Sacramento, Woodland, Vacaville, Davis) would want to get together to play some cards once or twice a week?

If anyone's interested, reply, PM me, or IM me.  My screenname is JesusServedDaily.

Cheers!
Joe

I feel that this is a great idea for a thread, but Basic User Community may be a better place for it.

However, I play in Vacaville at Gamer's Keepe at Nut Tree and Alamo (near Raleys). Drop by anytime.  I have all the local kids trained to whoop ass in T1 via proxy decks. One took 7th at Eudemonia's event.

Moved to basic community.

I'm in Davis for part of the year--basically, whenever I'm not at school. So, June-August, late december-early january, random weeks in spring.

Hey, I would like to know the tourney schedule and address' for the stores in Vacaville and Davis(end zone, bizzaro world), I go to Sonoma State and I believe my friend Stan Gin (t4 at Eudemonia's Pearl tourney playing NorCal Oath)wanted to take me along to visit some of the stores sometime this week. I do know some of the Davis players,(well Luis and have played a couple of his friends) and was hoping to maybe get some play in during the week if the timing is right.

ps: A couple friends and I went to visit Ken Johnson (Kil0) and to play in the DMF Mox Sapphire tourney in SoCal this weekend. Ken and I met in the last round and he decided that I would have the better match ups in the top 8. As was planned i had great matchups for Oath and went home with the Mox Sapphire. NorCal Oath rules(creator: Phuong Tran).

pps: Hope to see you all at the Eudemonia Series Tournaments. I didn't play in the first one, but i was there rooting on Stan and the CnJ Crew.

There is no tournement scene in Vacaville except One Pack Drafts.  Sigh.

Gamer's Keep will be closed this week due to a gaming convention in Vegas, but will re-open on Saturday.  Tournaments can happen there if people want to do them, but Vacaville ain't exactly Waturbury, ya know?

Bizarro World is in Davis at 8th and E (I think).  I has a section of singles, but the store is very small.

The End Zone is on 4th and D (I belive) and is basically behind the Chipotle/Cafe Roma area.  They do have singles and table space, but I have yet to go there when there is Magic going on.

There is also a place called Frontline Games in Fairfield, downtown on Texas.  Not much happens there but non-Magic stuff, but they do have a lot of space.

PM me if you are cruizing through town.

Sactown resident here..
I haven't seen too many stores that do T1 in Sactown but there is a link to a Mana Crypt tourney in the Tournament Announcements Forum. Not P9 but the $6 entry isn't that bad either.
