Well, I won't be making this one. If it were on the 2nd or 21st, I would be able to make it.

Can you reschedule this?

Dave.

A reschedule won't be possible. I have events going on all the other Saturdays. As a matter of fact it looks likely that the last Saturday of the month will be the norm. for our T1 events.

Right. So, I'll be there.  My wife cancelled her dance gig for that day and then I worked a deal with the Sheriff's Department to go on my qualifying shoot on a different day.

See you there---Rock on!

3 cheers for understanding wives and sheriffs!!
WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!

One more thing,
We really need one of the regulars who can take the top 8 lists and post a general report. The shop is growing at a rate that makes it damn near impossible for me to keep up with "extra" duties. So if anyone is up to the task LMK.

Thanks guys

That's not true, I Plagiarized Tony Soto twice in one game as well.

By the way, I will not be attending this one, as I have to fly to Green Bay (yes, Wisconsin, home of the hated Packers) for a wedding on very short notice. Nick should still be in attendance, however.

I don't get that.... I thought Nick only came to these things for your company, as he tends to get lonely at your house without you?

I might be able to make this one, though I'll be playing a terrible deck.

I don't mind that so much, though.

Well its time for another shot at fame and fortune among the DMF Vintage crew. I have broken out the super secret tek for this one. I'm running a U/G/B Spiny Starfish Invasion Deck that will own all. Well all that actually show up for this.

Well it figures that with Shawn changing up the days there was bound to be a couple of stray sheep that couldn't make it this time.

On another note, I am a controll player therefore I will controll the tempo of the game, my opponent and any spells that he intends to resolve, that is my job. However I cannot be expected to controll "TIME". So if our match ends in turns don't hate me, hate yourself for not being able to kill me in 50 min!!! Cool    -- Re: Shawn

Top 8 consisted of:  1 Stax, 1 Scuba Mask, 1 Oath, 1 Salvagers Oath, 1 Dragon, 1 SSB, and 1 (someone help me out here, what did Brent play round 1 of the top 8)

The top 4 split the prizes.  They were:

Myself (Ross) Playing Scuba Mask
Xrizzo (Tim)  Playing our Oath variant
Kil0 (Ken)  Playing SSB
Brent  (I don't know his TMD name)  playing Tog

We played out the top spots for glory.  I beat tim, and Brent beat Ken.  But before we could play the final match Brent& Ken had to leave, so Brent conceded the glory.  (I had beat him earlier in the day, but he didn't concede that I would have beat him)

Kinda a lame way to get it, but I guess I'm the winner...  A tournament report is forthcoming...

It depends on if you mean Brent Peterson or Brent Toda.

Peterson (UnstableCornBread) played 4c Tog

Toda played 4cc.

Based on your comment of top 4, I assume that Brent Toda made top 8 but lost.

Alright, so UnstableCornbread (Brent Peterson) was the Tog Player in the Top 2.

I don't know who he played in the first round of the top 8 though... or what archetype they were playing
