Hey all first of all, this is my first post so hi everybody, i've been looking around for the past year orso reading primers and the vintage forums and finally decided to participate on the forums.

Here is my question ceoncerning foil asians:
I couldn't find anything on ebay or magictraders and I would like to know an approximation of the prices (and which country takes them for that price, europe is alot more expensive than america for example)

the cards I need to know the prices of:

Vampiric Tutor
Goblin Welder
Oath of Druids
Brainstorm
Accumulated Knowledge
Cabal Therapy
Dark Ritual
Diabolic Edict
Pernicious Deed
Cunning Wish
Duress
Other T1 highlights that I forgot

Im looking forward to your replies.

Cheers

There are a ton of MagicTraders, you just don't look hard enough.  Talk to Asian dealers like Charlie Yu, Garyt2, Micheal French, fratelli, etc etc on MOTL for the cards you want.  And generally, those will cost you a small fortune.

If he was trying to trade for/buy these cards, I would have closed this thread already. He's just looking for card values.

Thought that was code for I want these cards but dunno what to value them at so PM me Smile.  Even so, at MagicTraders they have a forum just for card values, just post what you want valued and people will tell you.

I've never attempted to apply foil to an asian, so I can't really say what the costs involved are for sure.  I imagine it would take a fair amount of foil material and some patience, willingness, and understanding from the asian in question though in addition to substantial health issues, so the process would probably be quite expensive.  Still, at the end of it you'd have a nice shiny asian, and that's bound to be worth something.  I know there are a lot of guys out there who have a thing for asians, and shiny ones in particular could probably draw either a great deal of money or a great deal of jealousy.  Good Lu...

I'm pretty sure that you can't get Vampiric Tutor, Oath of Druids, and Diabolic Edict in foil in a foreign language, since those were rewards foils.

Found on:  Smedlock
VIS152S     Vampiric Tutor (Asian)    Visions Mint/NM Asian    $32.00

Apparently they printed Visions in Asian.  I'm not sure if you can find one foiled in Asian though.  From the price it looks here, a foiled out one would probably go for about $80.  I'm not a huge foil person though, so I don't know if other people would value it higher than that.

Check out the website above, they had a whole section of Asian cards.

The 6th Edition foil cards you see (i. e. River Boa, Vampiric Tutor, Longbow Archers, etc.) are all promo cards; 6th Edition didn't actually come with foils.

Promotional foils (Oath, Saga Duress, Vamp. Tutor, etc.) only come in English.

Right, the 6th foils are promos as well. (and Vamp was not one of them, but stuff like Memory Lapse for instance, was)

But Asian LED's go for ~$5, not 35. Then again, if you're a dealer I guess anything is possible. I think he would have added -asian only- if he meant nonfoil, since that's what he did for Vamp and Oath. I don't think there's a foil asian Mystical either.

Asian LED's are not $5 at all even though english is abt 3-4

the only asian language in Mirage is Japanese & it was a test print hence the rarity
thus u'll end up paying 20-30 or even higher for japanese mystical tutors.. same case as for LED , dreadnoughts & Spirit of the Nights

yep, it's the same problem with Mirage cards and Asian Mercadian masques foil cards. They were only printed in japanese and are pretty hard to find. Foil japanese brainstorms cost about 35$  (before the release of the fnm version, it could reach 100$) and a japanese SoTN costs about 20$.

T-chinese accumulated Knowledge are misprints. The text of the card is printed twice in the text box.  Thus the T-chinese version is more expensive than the others.

Asian LED's do NOT go for $5.  I'd pay $20 a piece on them ALL DAY, and I'd buy 20 in one shot.
