This is a deck that I've been playing for the last 6 months or so in various incarnations.   It's goal is to set up an early chains of mephistopholes and a megrim.  I've only played it in limited capacity against any of the major decks.  Here's the list of cards:

The deck typically does well against any thing that draws cards, but tends to die to the creature rush.   I'm considering removing the hypnotic specters and putting in ether duress or cabal therapy for disruption and changing the grinning demon to another Wheel and Deal.  Any suggestions people would like to make would be greatly appreciated.

Old school, man!  Since you made this deck (back in '97 was it?) they printed

Also, just because it has to be said, how does your deck actually GET the lock, and what IS your lock?  It doesn't seem like this is more then slow aggro currently.  Have you thought about a lock component as well, perhaps...

But I don't know what slots you want to kill for them, it will basically destroy your suicidal draw-7 philosophy to lock, so . . . probably lose those slots and try some bombs.

Yeah I quit back in 99, and started again about 6 months ago  Very Happy
The idea isn't so much to get a lock on the game, as it is kill them quickly.  Generally one of the draw 7's will be enough to kill my opponent(s) with a chains and megrim both on the table, or take all but one card out their hand with just a chains in play.    I think that the chalice would be a good replacement for the arcane denials.
