Well this is good to see, and was a good read. I was thinking about posting the U/W landstill version that I have been testing. Ours are similar, here is mine for reference.

Landstill

4 Flooded Strand
3 Tundra
2 Island
1 Plains
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Black lotus
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
4 Mishra's Factory
3 Faerie Conclave

4 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will
2 Counterspell
2 Stifle

3 Swords to Plowshares
3 Disenchant
3 Nevinyrral's Disk

1 Time Walk
2 Crucible of Worlds

4 Standstill
4 Brainstorm
1 Ancestral Recall
2 Cunning Wish

Sideboard:
1 Disenchant
1 Swords to Plowshares
1 Stifle
1 Fact or Fiction
1 Terferi's Response
1 Nevinyrral's Disk
4 Arcane Lab
3 Phyrexian Furnace
2 Energy Flux

Besides are drastically different boards the big differences are his use of another creature to speed his win condition, and my addition of cunning wish.

I have found that in my testing and previous play with landstill in the vintage scene that added creatures or DoJ are not necessary. Primarily because you don't want to see them until very late in the game, and at any other time they are a dead card (basically), and when I see them I would rather see another permission or STP anyway. Hence I have chosen not to run alternates in my builds.

I have still not made totally made up my mind on cunning wish. The targets are fairly generic, but the utility factor is still there. Examining my build perhaps it would be better to cut them for a third crucible and fact or fiction in the main, it would certainly streamline the build a bit.

I also feel that given the current state of the field, post 3shpere being restricted, that stifle should once again warrant maindeck slots. It can be used to help combat combo, protect against wasteland, and add to the decks potential to play a heavy mana denial game through stifle on a fetch, and crucible waste/strip.

If you haven't played "Hunt the Wumpus" then you can't really call yourself a gamer.

a fine article, except for some blatant plagiarism....

Quote
(That's like reaching into a brown paper bag filled with two checks for $100 million, two checks for $10 million, and a check for $10 ... and pulling out the check for 10 dollars. Ouch.)

That was a direct quote from "the Sports Guy" who writes for ESPN.COM from one of articles in the past year.  He was discussing some NBA draft and how the team who made the pick he was talking about chose so badly ....insert quote.  I mean you copied it word for word.  Unless you both copied it from someone else....

EDIT - it was an article put up April 8th.  His quote was

Quote
417. Darko Milicic
A quick recap of the 2003 Draft ...

No. 1. – LeBron James
No. 2. – Darko Milicic
No. 3. – Carmelo Anthony
No. 4. – Chris Bosh
No. 5. – Dwyane Wade

(That's like reaching into a brown paper bag filled with two checks for $100 million, two checks for $10 million, and a check for $10 ... and pulling out the check for 10 dollars. Ouch.

The article is here - http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/050408&num=0

C'mon dude, I think a teacher should know how to credit sources....(you're a teacher right?)

More blatant plagiarism from the same Sports Guy article

Sports Guy quote from April 8th:
Quote
319. Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell (tie)
Trading for an NBA player with baggage is like dating a girl with baggage – maybe you'll be happy for a few months, but there's a 95-percent chance it's going to end badly. (And I mean, BADLY, as in, "Why does it hurt when I pee?" or "I wonder who left 59 hang-ups on my answering machine?")

Matt Smith on April 19th:
Quote
Showing up to a tournament of this caliber without doing your homework is like dating a girl with baggage – maybe you'll be happy for a few rounds, but there's a 95-percent chance it's going to end badly. (And I mean, BADLY, as in, ´´Why does it hurt when I pee?´´ or ´´I wonder who left 59 hang-ups on my answering machine?´´)

Seriously, why not just link to his column and insert random decklists...
