Thanks for the read. I enjoyed it.
I found it kinda odd how you had 2x Wasteland's sideboarded ...

I've been running a decklist almost exactly like this in my local metagame for about 2-3 months now. <3 Disk.

Why not run 4 Waste MD? Seven Islands seems like a lot.

I don't have premium, but the only odd choice seems to be the lone akromas vengance in the SB, what matchups does this come in for? It would seem way to slow for a metagame where the fundamental turn is 1 or 2.

Count the blue sources: 16. I wouldn't run UU cards without 16 blue sources, and going above 26 mana overall wasn't very appealing to me. As is, I get five-land hands annoyingly often. The boarded Vengeance came in for most Welder decks---I expect to need to wipe the board more with them, and I don't often have problems with the casting cost.

Wouldnt you logically also run 4 flooded strands since you are running 2 basic islands?

Hilariously, I only own a pair of each blue fetchland, and I didn't get to the tournament site early enough to feel comfortable looking for the other two rather than registering. The second Maze was only found through spontaneous Kowal axxion (I'll get it back to you sooner or later, Ben ), and the Crucibles were right in front of me in the display case when I said hi to Pete.

I don't have premium, so I didn't read your article. However, I have a friend who plays Landstill and I am looking for a solid deck to beat it. What are Landstill's bad matchups?

FCG isn't very good, neither is U/G Madness, or any sort of fast-fat.

FCG isn't very good, neither is U/G Madness, or any sort of fast-fat. Maindeck Balance is a good answer to fast beats. I run a build with Mystical Tutor and Balance (for my creature heavy metagame) that has done pretty well. It seems that if you're running U/W Landstill you should at least have the best white card ever printed in the sideboard, if not maindecked.

Balance is a great answer to fast creature aggro. It is restricted though, so can't always be relied upon. And even with balance FCG/Madness can give landstill some headaches. You need to find a disk or balance very fast once the goblins start hitting the table, as piledriver and co. commence face beating quite quickly.
