attempted deck

hey guys and maybe gals....i am for the most part an experienced player but have the skill of a newbie. and i need help with a deck from you more capable players.

basically what i'm trying to do is use the zuberas alongside the death-pit offerings

this is it:

Any and all feedback and ideas on how to help this deck is welcome.....please help me.

Just thought i would add that i am on an EXTREMELY limited budget....no chrome moxes or black lotuses or any of the like. just stuff that is relatively easy to get a hold of. thanks.

Kinda screams for Living Death doesn't it?   That would be amusing and clear the other guys stuff at the same time.   Maybe 2 or 3 at the most.  Recurring Nightmare would be a laugh also.

This will never win any good T1 tourneys.  Even underpowered ones because you have little disruption (Duress is common BTW and so is ritual)  What I feel is this is a great extended idea but it really cannot compete in Vintage.

Some good vintage commons that work:

Gorilla Shaman
Brainstorm
Counterspell/Mana Leak
Cloud of Faeries
Lightning Bolt (might be a little pricey)
Red Elemental Blast/Pyroblast

There are others.  What I think is you could make a fish deck with commons that could be a lot more viable than this.

ive built a zubera deck as well, only mine is expensive as hell as it uses 12 duals and 8 fetchs, anyway, heres a list:


// Lands
    1  City of Brass
    4  Windswept Heath
    4  Tropical Island
    4  Savannah
    4  Wooded Foothills

    4  Floating-Dream Zubera
    4  Dripping-Tongue Zubera
    4  Birds of Paradise

    4  Ember-Fist Zubera

    4  Brainstorm
    4  Wrath of God
    4  Lotus Petal
    4  Pack Hunt



the basic idea is to pack hunt ember-fist zubera's into youre hand and either eureka them down or hardcast them yourself and then after that hit them all with a WoG.

and come to think of it i have another zubera deck but i dont have a list on me, but i can tell you that its set up to abuse lifeline and spawning pit to continually net the benefits of the zuberas.
