First, Round 3 + 4 videos are UP and more will be going up as time goes on. Use a Gnutella client to download them. I'll have bittorrents up asap.

(For reference, some of the gnutella clients are gtk-gnutella, shareaza, limewire, bearshare, kazaa)

As an aside, if people could provide some torrents, and whatnot, that would be great. The videos are DivX (which means video stream == mpeg4, audio stream[broken] == mp3).

Second, I'd like to thank Kerri for doing taping while I was flopping magical cards (for 3 rounds of sheer embarassment). <3

Thirdly, I'd like to thank Ray for holding the best Vintage tournament ever, again. Honestly, for those of you that don't go to waterbury but have the opportunity, you're really missing out on the best tournament I've ever been to.

Finally, I'd like to give a big shout-out to all the players that play Vintage. You guys pwn.

I reached this site lastnight to view what videos were up, but I didn't have enough time to download them before bed. Today I'm trying to access the site to download the videos. The problem is , this is the message I'm getting:

Edit: I Should also mention that I am using the same computer and server that I was 12 hours ago when I got into the site without any problems.

OK, quick update:

#1 - the server admin for the waterbury videos had basically shut off the download. The reason is, too many people are downloading, and its clogging his site.

That said, I have opened the directory up again. I STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE TO DO P2P HOSTING OF THESE FILES BE IT ON THE GNUTELLA NETWORK (kazaa, bearshare, limewire, gtk-gnutella, etc.) AND TO SETUP TORRENTS!!!!

#2 - I got a PM today that bothered me a lot. Basically, here's the PM paragraph by paragraph summary:
   * The video quality sucks because I can't see the cards clearly
   * There is no commentary like the Pro Tour has
   * The download is slow
   * Fix these

  For those who are going to just bitch and moan please know a few things:

  * I'm not a professional videographer. If you don't like the quality of the video, sorry. I'm working on improving it, but please, understand I'm an amatuer and
  it will take many iterations.
  * I don't get paid to do this, 'nor do I ask for payment. I think these are a good thing (TM) for the community, and many of you do too. I'm open to criticism, but
  blatant flaming is NOT an incentive for me to keep filming.
  * Your bitching won't solve anything unless you actually propose a solution for the problems. I understand the downloads are slow and there is no commentary,
  and the video quality is slightly lacking. I RECORDED THEM! I PULLED THEM FROM THE CAMCORDER AND I ENCODED THEM! Just stating the obvious
  is absolutely shitty.

Sorry to bitch more, but it seems that some files have been removed. Also, are you planning on hosting the finals video?

Only rounds 3+4 are up right now. Yes, I will put up the finals when I get a chance.

In terms of video quality, one thing that can't be helped is that we need to play with sleeves.  Sleeves add a ton of glare, which makes it hard to see what the cards are.

403'd again. it's killing the admin. People that have already downloaded the videos, please be kind enough to distribute them on Kazaa, bearshare, etc. with the keyword waterbury. Later this evening, I'll also open a port on my firewall to share the vids.

ONCE AGAIN: TOO MUCH DEMAND HAS CAUSED ME TO LOSE MY ABILITY TO HOST VIDEOS.

OK, I've setup a gtk-gnutella tunnel. The IP address is two-four dot one-two-eight dot two-zero-one dot one-zero-one colon eight-three-three-eight (prevent automated scans, etc.).  For those of you using P2P who just leech, please set your client to do sharing and share these. You're helping the T1 community. If we get, even 50 or 60 people up who can share, then that will be great for distribution. Supposedly in the next week as well someone has offered to seed for a bittorrent. Hopefully once this is done, we'll fix the bandwidth issues.

Thanks,
Aaron

of course, limewire (like all gnutella clients) will most definately work. Danzig (much props man) has also started hosting the videos. Because of bandwidth requirements, I'm going to be releasing the videos one at a time. Sorry about that, it's been a rough patch this time around but hopefully things will work out better in the future.

I've typed in Waterbury and Waterbury Videos into Limwire and I'm still not getting any results, are there just not any matches up yet?

Anyway of hosting those things on LimeWire or just giving them to me through file transfer?  I'd be much obliged. Mr. Green

torrents of Round3 and Round4 high quality is available from: http://www.gnulinux.dk

You need bittorrent (http://www.bittorrent.com/) to download the movies. Please keep seeding after you downloaded them. Thanks.

EDIT: Round2 Game1 is now up and running. Get it while its hot  Smile

I'll hopefully be updating soon with rounds 1, 2, and 5, 6. That will put 1/2 the videos up. I'm sorry it's been taking so long, but life seems to be getting in the way.
