Have any of you tested Annul main vs. Mana Leak.  While it is conditional, you are almost assured of being able to use it on turn one.  Also, it is usable in most matchups- Dragon, any Workshop based deck, Belcher.  Against Fish it hits Standstill or Aether Vial.  In todays meta, it seems strong.  Heck, it can take out a mox, which if followed up with a strip effect can devestate.

I'd like to mention that in powered versions of Oath with Mana Leak, it is usually just as fast as Annul because you drop a blue source with a mox.  The real gem of Annul lies in the fact that it is so inexpensive, so you can play an annul and a draw spell in the same turn.

Annul is interesting.  If I expected an abundance of artifact-based decks, I'd probably run them in place of my Impulses and Needles, not my Leaks.

Has anyone considered Sylvan Library for Oath?  It has awesome synergy w/Brainstorm.

Also, is it worth splashing red for Rack and Ruin in the side, or would I be better off splashing black for MD Duress and Demonic Tutor?

i would think that the black splash would be more effective, you get a one mana counter (duress) and two amazing tutors, demonic and vampiric. dont forget about the better mana base as well with polluted delta allowing you to run 2 islands and a swamp.

I have done some further testing and found that, though I like the Needles, they're better suited to the SB.  I need more MD draw/search, and Impulse is too expensive.  How about SV in addition to the Int/AK engine?  Dropping the MisD's and Cast from the side to make room for Needles?
