Unfortunately, the Chicago Champion (yours truly) will be unable to attend.  By car, it's just too much travelling.  And by plane, it's just too much money.

But hey, this just means someone else gets a chance to play against sligh in round five at table one Smile

Heh - silly copy paste. I've updated the event description to account for ten proxies and include the ITLG prizes.

Enough lies.  Just admit that WoW has utterly consumed your soul, and has ordered you to continue leveling up rather than attend.

In any case, I'll be there.

OMG...it's over for everybody. Jesus ROXASS will be there. Honestly, how can you possibly beat someone with that name?

As always, CO will be there in full force.

Reb, LMK if you need to borrow shit from me. Jim mentioned something about it.

Guess it is time to try talking Reb into playing another stupid deck. I'll be there again with a camera again. Kowal never seems to intend to come but he always seems to make it...

Well, technically I did conceed to Kowal at the last StarCity Chicago event, because we prize split.  So, if he doesn't end up comming out for the event I could stand in for the defending champion, as the "person to beat."  However, I'd much rather Ben randomly surprise everyone with his presence, because he's just such a great fellow.  It just wouldn't feel like Starcity Chicago without him there.  Either way, I'm sponsered for this event so I'll definately be there attempting to tear it up again, and drinking like a fiend in between rounds at that the Bennigan's across the street.  (Windfall, Everythingitouches dies, and onelovemachine, you guys know what I'm talking about!).
Cheers.

Cool, Reflectionites will be there in numbers.  Some will even be coming back from hiatus for this one.   Mr. Green

I so wish I could make it, but unless this week's paycheck is curiously 100% overtime pay, I just can't afford it.

Unfortunately, that is the day I'll be leaving Williamsburg, so I'll be unable to make it.  Clearly, the tournanent should be moved back a week to accomodate my schedule. Wink  J/k, but I will be at Gencon to ravage the Vintage community.

If any of the Eau Claire or Minneapolis folks want to ride down with me, let me know.  I'm planning on heading down Friday around noon, staying in a hotel as close as possible.
