More than likely.  They have to print a pretty large number of foils to make it worthwhile, so you know there's a hell of a lot more sitting around at Wizards at the moment.  Some of us suspect that it will become a Player rewards card, but only time will tell if that's true.  It's also possible they will become judge promos instead, but if they handed them out to players, it's more likely they will become Player Rewards than Judge rewards.

I saw it at Origins and wasn't terribly impressed with it.  It looks ok, but the new card face and DCI logo makes it look pretty shitty in my opinion.  I prefer my Japanese ones.  I have Japanese dice to put on them, and the synergy of Japanese Gemstones and Japanese dice is just too much.  Anyone who saw it can confirm just how amazing it is.

I see these settling around $20-25 after some time.  If they become Rewards cards, they'll likely be around $10-12.  If they do become Rewards cards, they won't be considered very pimp anymore and Asian ones will become the standard in pimpness (apparently I've become an authority of pimp cards, so my opinion on this matter will most likely become standard in terms of pimp appeal).

I think it's cool they made a promo Gemstone mine because gemstone is my favorite land that adds mana of any color.

I have to agree with the logo etc, the new face and the crappy, tacky DCI smack bang in the middle really makes it loose some of its appeal. Although I hate Japanese letters, the numbers are the most insane I have ever seen, I'll be keeping my German playset of Gemstone mines for the moment.
