Martyr's Sacrifice W Enchantment Sacrifice a white creature: destroy target black creature. A despot's cannot harm those who do not fear his wrath.
This is almost certainly undercosted, but a. I'm not sure what to cost it at b. the effect really isn't very powerful. I'd like to make it either "destroy target creature", or "destroy target creature with power >= foo" (where foo is an arbitrary number at which we set a boundary for "fattie") but those seem a to be outside flavor for this (and white in general). If we did make it one of those, it'd certainly need to go up in cost. Also, would it be bad to make it just "sac a creature:" instead of the restricted version?
Current Version Martyr's Sacrifice 1WW Enchantment Sacrifice a white creature: Martyr's Sacrifice does damage equal to that creature's power to target creature. If that creature is black, destroy it. A despot cannot harm those who do not fear his wrath.

Martyr's Sacrifice WW1 Enchantment Sacrifice a white creature: do damage equal to sacrificed creature's power to target creature. If that creature is Black, destroy it. A despot's cannot harm those who do not fear his wrath.
Higher CC but made more useful whilst still hosing Black. I like the idea of an a more skilled martyr being better at taking out larger creatures (sacrificing maidens to dragons doesn't work) whilst still allowing humble priests to take out demons. As worded it does double duty on Black regenerators, I'm not sure if that is elegant although killing Drudge Skeletons shouldn't be a huge problem for White.
An alternative would be the bad Karma route
Martyr's Sacrifice WW1 Enchantment Sacrifice a white creature: target creature gets -X/-X where X is the number of Swamps controllered by its controller A despot's cannot harm those who do not fear his wrath.
That should get rid of your worst Nightmares.

I thought that someone would bitch about the first version 'destroying' Black creatures twice (by damage and also destroy effect). It seemed a better alternative than ugly wording though.
I though about making version two 'all creatures target player controls...' although that seemed to be too strong as a hoser (although Karma and Northern Paladin aren't exactly weak).

Shouldn't this be "target attacking creature"?

No. It is already card disadvantage, only works well against Black (and even then is hardly a world beater) and generally allows tou to sacrifice a fighter to take out a smallish creature. Think of this as an Eye for an Eye for creatures.
The card already sucks, it really doesn't need further restrictions on use.

Should this be a white card? I understand the flavor of martyr's sacrificing themselves, but this ability is red isn't it (fling, bloodshot cyclops)? Direct Damage to creatures seems waaay out of flavor for white, unless they are attacking or blocking.
