The sunday Lotus tournament had 35 players

I split with Messick in the finals. I took the lotus and gave him $200 + the foil Sol Ring. 4CC is a pretty easy match up for me, but I hadnt slept in 48 hrs and desperately wanted to become unconscious, which I did for the next 16 hours.

Also on sunday we ran a mana drain side tournament with 8 players
Top 4 was:
Elliot Gross - UR Workshop Aggro
Kevin Bopp - R Uba Stax
Brian Mennick - UR Workshop Aggro
Nick Cronpic - Oath Orchard

Gross and Bopp split with Gross taking the Drain and giving Bopp $60.

Wow Vroman.  Two final's appearences with Uba Stax.  Maybe I should retract my views on Uba Stax being bad and start fooling with it.  Congrats on two strong appearences in a row!

2 - Ryan Messick - 4C Control

I am not sure it was 4cControl.  I think it was only U/W.  I Mystical Tutored for him on a Slave turn and I didn't see any other colors.  His deck was kind-of a landstill thing without the Standstills.  4 Phyrexian Furnace main.

I Slaved him for 4 turns and I couldn't remove his damn Serendib!
