Anyone know of any t1 tourneys that are regularly run in the above area?  Only tournies we've been able to attend are scg chicago's.  Chicago is a little bit of a hike, but not that bad every once in a while.  Would be nice to find some closer.  I remember games universe used to run a monthly tourney, anyone know anything about that?

Team ICBM is working with Game Universe.  I go there all the time durring their type 2 and draft events just to hang and play vintage... A lot of the guys down there know the team pretty well now.  We're working with James to continue their moxen tournament.

Game Universe currently has a mox emerald that they will be holding a tournament in Late September or into october.

We're just looking for a blackout date.

Hopefully those tourneys start up again.  Would be nice to have a monthly tourney to go to.

There are more than a few of us south of Rockford in IL who'd welcome a tournament more frequent than the SCG series allows. I know that there's no Vintage scene in Rockford currently, and I don't see that changing (both of the major shops aren't into hosting larger tourneys). A monthly or bi-monthly tournament would be very welcome in the area.

There is no T1 scene in Madison to speak of.  Milwaukee or Chicago are really the closest things to Central Wisconsin where any vintage events occur.  Most people around here with power of any sort usually just have it in a 5-color deck.

Madison is pretty much a limited only town.  The only time people even have constructed decks for any format is when there's a PTQ or GP trial hosted here.
