Neat card though. Why is the thread name different? Also, I don't see rats as poachers per se.

Why not just call the card "Pilfering Rats"? It works about a million times better than "knowledge poachers" for a rat card.

Yeah, I like Pilfering Rats. It just sounds better, somehow; this sounds weird but just saying the name is more fun and better flavor. I love the flavor text and the card.
On a power level, I'm wondering how good this is. That's a lot of discard for just B, but it's so situational I think I'm actually fine with the cost where it is.

Seems really really powerful. Maybe make it pack 3. Also, it should be worded like this:

Just to make it easy to tell, I took the "spell" after "Rat" out. Just look at any of the spiritcraft cards from COK/BOK/SOK.

It should either be rat CIP or "When rat CIp, if you played it from your hand..." Right now it triggers on playing the spell, you shouldn't get a discard if the Rat doesn't resolve.

Your forgetting that you need 2 in play, and you have to resolve another rat. So the pack 2 is really like a pack three. |
